Trade thoughts (1 Viewer)

I've proposed the following trade options to a team that lost Edelman and was already pretty thin at RB and WR. Any thoughts on them would be appreciated.

A. (His) Antonio Brown for (My) Fournette and Cooks

B. (His) Brady for (My) Rivers and Fournette.

C. (My) Riddick for (His) Khalil Mack  (in the league Mack is classified as a DL and not only suggesting this trade for his point advantage over other DL's but we get end of season position winning dollars which Mack has a good chance of winning).

My current team: QB Rivers, Flacco.  RB's Fournette. Lynch, Elliott, Riddick, Henry, McFadden, DeAndre Washington, WR's OBJ, Michael Thomas, Cooks, Robinson, Tyrell Williams, Marvin Jones.

Start 2 RB's, 2 WR's, 2 Flex. 1 pt PPR

His Team QB's Brady and Palmer, RB's Perkins, Woodhead, Conner, Perine, Cohen, WR's Antonio, Landry, Sanu, Mike Williams (Chargers) and Edelman.

A.  You can try, but I don't think the other owner will bite.  This is like 2 half dollars for a buck kind of deal.  You are going to need to part with an elite player to get Brown.

B. While this trade is fair, I am not sure why you want to do it.  Fournette has a lot of value in dynasty.  Rivers is serviceable.  Brady could fall off the cliff at any time...I don't suspect that it will be this year, but you never know.

C.  Can't opine on C.  Gally is the resident IDP expert here.....I will let him opine.

Re:B I can't keep Fournette because he was drafted in the first 3 rounds (same with Brown) I would however be able to keep Brady if I chose to with a 4th round next year.

OK that changes things.

It would make you very thin at RB, but do have Zeke hedged.  I can see doing that deal then when trying to win now.

I agree with fightingillini on trade A.  It would be nice to pull off but I wouldn't even consider it if I was the other guy.

Trade B:  I can see why you would offer this deal but I probably wouldn't do it.  I expect a good year out of Rivers this year and Fournette should be a workhorse.  I would look to combine trade B & C.

Trade C:  Mack is a stud and if he has DL eligibility I would only assume that the other owner would realize that tremendous value.  Especially if this is a big play IDP scoring - 4 (or higher) pts per sack vs 1 pt per tackle.   Mack is gold if that is the format especially as  DL.  This is why I suggested combining offer's B & C.  I think you are giving up a bit much in B and not enough in C.  This way it might even out.

This would leave you a bit thin at RB and since you didn't list your starting requirements I am not sure if that is a big deal or not.

B.   Personally I see Zeke playing this year answer and serving his suspension next season (Jerry going to take this to court).   This will leave you still strong at RB and your WR's will pick up the slack.
