I disagree. It's not guy X for guy Y, it's a general statement about percieved value of certain players. What kind of movement have people seen involving said player. Nothing wrong with it if it's not asking for a trade evaluation.

Like I said...a back door way, if you cant see the persons attention who started the "whats X's trade value" thread....ur a lil nieve!He is asking for advice by rewording something that should be in the AC forum....

It's a good way to gauge value others are seeing. It';s not specifically about team management, but rather about what people are seeing as perceived value int heir leagues, even if they don't have the player(s) in question.

The beauty of it is that this is a free country and if we see a thread on "trade value" we don't have to go to it if it annoys us. The Boards here are just like the world, not perfect.

Sometimes people want to discuss the perceived value of someone simply just because they do, not because they are sneaking into their cyber back door.

Evaluating the value of one player is cool.

The annoying posts are the "who do you like better for the year" and then they list 2 guys who have no relation except that the poster is considering trading one for the other or deciding which to pick up.

There are a lot of threads that one could argue belong in the AC thread but I appreciate the fact that the guys don't moderate and regulate like psychos. Lots of guys have threads like "I'm starting _____ over _______"

Joe and David and the staff have better things to do and I would rather they do that.
