Trade values - dynasty - it's that time of year (1 Viewer)

So it's the time of year that the contenders are looking to get difference makers (and lesser players) for this season and the pretenders are looking to trade those difference makers (and lesser players) for down-the-road value.

So what are people seeing for value for players such as:

QB

Cutler

Brady

RB

Forte

MJD

WR

Marshall

Fitz

TE

Olsen

Gonzo

I think people posting trades they've made, ones they offered but weren't accepted (with their thoughts on why they offered them) and/or viewpoints on players they have, could be of value to all of us.

Two trades I made this week. I'm 5-2 and 3rd in scoring.

I sent

Julio Jones + two 2nd round picks (this team is loading up for next year he will be stacked)

I received

Moreno + Andre Johnson + two early to mid 2014 1st round picks

The other trade

I sent

D.Moore + Rivers+ mid to late 2014 1st round pick

I received

Cobb + Cutler + 2014 2nd round pick

I thought both deals we pretty fair but I have been told the Cobb deal was lopsided by some people on here.......

I think the teams getting Julio and Cobb won out; the one with you getting Cobb in the second deal really made out well.

For some of the values, here's what I think:

Julio - 2 early 2014 1st round picks

Moreno - 1 early to mid 2014 1st round pick

AJ - 1 early to mid 2014 1st round pick

Moore - 1 2014 3rd round pick

Rivers - 1 2014 3rd round pick

Cobb - 2 early 2014 1st round picks

Cutler - 1 2014 2nd round pick

An assistant coach appropriate thread cleverly disguised and posted in the shark pool forum
Nope, but thanks for playing.

One of the things I've struggled with for years is the approximate value of players so I can a better view on how my teams stand and when I need to look to either try to add difference makers or deal them.

But feel free to pile on, if that's what you think you need to do.

Who are WR2 level players who you can get on the cheap at an age or risk discount? Wayne was my main target but now that he's on the shelf I'm looking at guys like Bolden or Steve Smith and thinking they're not an upgrade over the slop I have. Cheap stopgap guys like Edelman and Nate Washington look to have cooled off. Is there anyone to target?

Cecil Shorts maybe. The guy gets a ton of targets.

I doubt he'd be cheap. Probably lower than his true value but still at late 1st value I'd bet.

Lots of good info on this here.
True, but that thread is a better repository for completed deals.
I believe that thread is for completed deals.
You worded it better than I - thanks for the clarification.
 Sorry about that was quoting the original poster then saw yours and I guess I didn't realize I quoted you.I like the Shorts suggestion above, he's always reminded me of a Victor Cruz type of WR except that his QB's have sucked. I expect the Jags to draft one in 2014 and it could help him big time as I suspect that Blackmon will draw the top coverage. Good buy for this year since he's usually undervalued and could be even more valuable next season.

Roddy White is another one for sure.
