12 Team PPR. start 1QB, 1-3RB, 1-3WR, 1TE.  4 point passing TD.

Which side do you prefer

A. Dalton, J. White, 2.08, 2.09

or

R. Wilson, Steve Smith

R Wilson is the best player in the deal, so I like that side better, even though Smith is on his last legs.  Dalton is just an average QB, White is always going to share in NE's backfield, and the mid-late 2nds are just throw ins to me.

I would go Wilson also.  He is clearly the best player in the deal.  I would like to have 2.08 and 2.09 but all in all none of the pieces given up for Wilson would give me much heartburn to part with.

The Wilson side wins in the first offer.  As far as the counter offer this becomes very close.  I prefer Wilson over Dalton but you may lose a bit on the 1.05 this year over a 2018 1st round pick.  I still would do this because I like Wilson quite a bit more than Dalton.

I am on the Wilson side for both offers.  The first offer is a no brainer accept for the Wilson side and the counter offer is a little more to think about but it is still an accept.  Wilson's down year was primarily injury driven as he had knee/ankle injuries that zapped all of his best skill (escapability to extend plays into big plays).   Without that he was a solid QB but didn't have the skill that makes him an elite QB.  That should be back next year - barring another injury of course.

Yeah, I never have viewed Qbs in a 12 team league as that valuable.  I see there are a couple responses that favor the Wilson side.

I countered that he add in a 2018 2nd for that reason and he didn't see the benefit since he was downgrading his QB2 and adding in the 2018 2nd.
