trading for keepers (1 Viewer)

I am in a 12 team league with 2 keepers. My team before i made this trade was: Warner, Barber, LT, Ocho, D. jackson, D. clark, J. witten, A. boldin plus my reserve players most notably F. jones. Format is 1QB 2RB 1Flex and 3WR We play a TE can be used as WR with a 20% increase (1 pt for every 8 yards rather than for every 10 yards like WR) My record going into week nine was 1-7. Seems impossible doesn't it? Anyway i know my playoff chances for this year are out of the question and my keeper options are somewhat less than desirable. So rather than keep the team i had and go into the offseason at a disadvantage, I decided to offer trades to improve my situation for next year. 1st trade: Warner, Lt, Ocho and D. jackons for D. brees, B. wells, S. Greene, Coffey and G. Olsen. 2nd trade: Barber, D. Clark, Boldin and F. Jones for R. Brown, J. Fargas, C. Williams and D. Ward. To note there was no type of collusion what so ever. I also offered similiar deals to at least 6 other teams and either got rejected or no response. I know on paper these trades seem lopsided, but i am looking for what is best for my team and its future. I would much rather have Brees and Brown as my keepers than any of those other players. QBs are huge in our league. Most of the league agrees with me. There are two owners who are saying they are out of the league next year because of the trades. They believe the intgrety of the league comes first and for me to load up other teams with such quality players is not right. They would like for me to keep the same players i have and finish out the year and then make offseason trades. These players have very limited value in the offseason so why wouldn't i use them during the season when i could get the most in return? We have done things in the past to help keep the integrity of the league first such as not allowing owners to trade future draft picks and limiting the number of offseason trades. My contention is I am not doing anything but looking out for what is best for my team.

AM i in the wrong?

Any advice would be appreciated
