Anyway, i think we ALL think Roddy wont continue at this current pace.

But is he a TREND or MIRAGE as a TOP 12 WR?

The cream rises to the top. Jennings, Moss, Steve Smith, Calvin Johnson all are starting slow whether it's yards, TDs, or both. I believe he will be alright along with the rest.

Now i know like you all he will easily surpass 600yds easily.

He'll be fine. If Ryan hadn't missed on a couple of bombs so far, his numbers would be much better. He's getting the targets and it isn't his fault his numbers are depressed.

UCB, I like the trend or irage idea of the thread...if its just for your team though which I don't know that it is, but if it is just based on your roster then they aren't quite as powerful.

NOPE, i dont own Roddy on any of my 5 dynasty teams. I do however have him in the Subscriber contest.Was just curious on these guys is all. Nothing behind it. Although im not as high as others on Schaub just wanted to see what the community feel on him was.

He has 26 targets in 3 games, so I don't view Gonzo as the issue. He only had 15 targets in the first 3 games last year. I'll reserve judgment for now, but I don't see any reason to panic.

Personally, I don't mind these threads even if they are just about guys on your roster. As long as it's general enough for everyone to get something from it, you've been bringing up players that have been faltering.

He's been garbage thus far but he had 10 targets in each of his first two weeks (not sure how many yesterday). If he keeps getting targets by the bunches he'll finish as a top 10 wr, if not top 5.

So let's jump on this then.

Roddy White had 10 targets in wk 1 and wk2, both of those were good for game highs. He has not done a lot with those targets so I have to think he can come back however Gonalez is definitely eating into his production. Let's see what White had last season.

In 2008 he had 10+ targets in 8 games last season and here is what he did...7/90, 8/132/TD, 9/112/TD, 8/113/2TDs, 5/68/TD, 5/102, 10/164, 11/84/TD

But I will say that out of those 8 games last season that 7 of them were 11+targets, 5 of those 8 were 13+ targets.

Sometimes when teams get hit with a loss or two they tend to go back to what works. While they want a balanced passing attack it is possible that over the next few weeks as they try and keep pace with NO that they end up reverting back to more targets for White who avg 9 a game last season and he has been right at that average so far.

Weeks 4-10 last year he had 10+ targets in all but one of those games, lets see what he does in the next few weeks, but I might try and buy low. Thios board has been on record for a long time in saying that White really is the real deal and is highly talented and its obvious when you witness him in person. I trust those observations.

Buy him LOW!!!

2nd line, end of the sentence...I still like the fact that Atlant is a strong playoff contender, have a team pushing them to win each and every week with NO on a tear, good solid QB, good solid ground game, defense may still have a few questions...I like White to get on track. Do you see him ending the seaosn with 800 yds and 4 TDs? I don't.

Gian? GianMarco? I'll take that as a compliment actually. Not many WRs can keep pace at 1,400 yds a season, I would think he can get 1000/8 with litle problem but you have to know when you pick guys that they are not likely to duplicate numbers form season to season whether they go up or down.

In redraft that's a legit offer, especially in beer draft local leagues. Henderson has bee posting pretty good numbers. I have one of these types of leagues and its very hard to pull off trades cause guys want whatever is the flavor of the month and it gets dicey in what you can do.

it is a local league, 8 team/20 man roster. we call it a "dynasty" but it's more like a keeper. we cut to 12 and draft 10 rounds.

Hendy has outscored Roddy by 10pts. so far. doesn't seem too out of line with the way NO throws the ball around.

Ok good deal then bro. Sorry but my mind is always set on dynasty. Havent played anything other than that in so so long. but i see where you coming from. good luck on that. I like Roddy alot more than Devery even in redraft.
