Trent Cole should be a hot pickup... (1 Viewer)

I think he's solid. I'm a huge fan, but if you're jumping on the bandwagon now, you're too late. He's not getting 32 sacks. Heck, if he gets 16 (he won't) he's already 25 percent of the way there. He plays the opposite side as well so it will be interesting to see who gets the job if Kearse is seriously hurt.

So you don't think he will get 12 + sacks.... Hes defintely the starter if kearse is not there and when kearse was there there was a line rotation which means he was in there just as much as howardand kearse..... I think he has a shot to be special especially playing opposite howard...

If I had to guess:

1. If Kearse can play again this year, we will see Cole go back to the second line in the rotation. He's a main reson they went to the alternating lines in the first place. He could get 8 more sacks the rest of the way, he's that good, but he did get tired late last year.

2. If Kearse is done for the year, Cole will get promoted, but we will probably see less of the whole sale line changes, and more situational substitution.

Note that right now, Cole is a major reason for today's loss for the Eagles. He is running as a top scapegoat, and deservedly so with the stupid penalty that made the tying FG attempt 15 yards closer. I don't expect anything to come of it, but it's not often when you can say a guy who had 2 sacks really should not have ben out there in a clutch situation. I think if he does something this dumb again, you'll see him sitting a lot.

so is he worth picking up and is he a solid starter that can get 1 2 sacks this year...

Derrick Burgess led the league in sacks last year with 16. Do I think Cole can match that? The Eagles fan in my wants to say yes. The realist says no. Double-digits is realistic.

In my opinion Cole will not play more for the injury of Kearse. Eagles will activate Mcdougle for the next game and will use the same "hockey rotation". Anyway Cole could have at least 15 sacks this year

I believe he will defintely play more..... Kears is out I doubt it that they prefer to use scrubs in there...

I just heard on Roto that Mcdougle will take kearse spot in the roatation... Now it did state that it is yet unknown who will start in Kearse place and how much time each linemen will receive.. Does this mean Cole will not produce like a fantasy starter...

Cole in first line at RDE, with Howard to LDE, Mcdougle in line 2 at RDE is what I hear.
Ok is this good or bad for Cole.... That means hes moving to the other side does he need to readjust.. Is he going to be there on third downs...

Nope. Looks like he's a good player, but not elite yet.
