Trent Richardson can revenge overcome talent? (1 Viewer)

I have been watching TR since he was drafted by Cleveland and now in Indy the guy is baffling. Has the size the speed and the power to be a really good back but has not gotten the job done. He dances in the whole WAY too much for a power back, has the vision of sloth and for what ever reason goes down at first contact way to often. The Browns look like they fleeced the Colts in a deal that could cost Indy for years. My question is this. Is there any chance this guy can use the revenge factor to have a solid game against his old team? When I say solid, I mean 100 yards and a touchdown. Thinking about taking a chance on him Sunday to produce.

he's getting revenge for being traded from the browns to the colts.....?

I'd think it would b emore like the colts getting revenge on the browns for that trade

Only if the defense forgets to take the field. I mean....I guess its possible, he's averaging 3.29 yds/carry so they just have to give him the ball 30 times. Of course that assumes he actually gets 3.29 yards per carry and that's a HUGE assumption.

So you are going to start him in a playoff game with the expectation that he will score more this week then he has in any other week this year? The only reasoning is that this week he really really wants to play well.

I think there is a chance and he's an interesting upside flier for this week, but man I wouldn't want to trust this guy in the playoffs.

As long as Luck is the qb, why would they give this slug enough touches to have a good game? They are built to pass the ball and that's what they do. I mean, he's not even the starter getting the majority of the carries and if he was it still wouldn't be pretty.

As you typed this, Richardson just had another 6 rushes for no gain.

he's reached 100 total tds twice in his last 33 games

if you want to set the bar at 100 yds rushing, you'd need to go back to week 9 of 2012.

But that's the thing. They continue to give him those carries and seem content doing so which makes little sense to me.

Isn't this guy statistically one of the worst RBs ever? I had the thought to start him in a TD league since he may score against CLE, but I am not taking that risk of 3 yards on 8 carries and one score.

Trent can think he is as good as he wants, the video doesnt lie. If he didnt have draft stock value to GMs egos he wouldnt be on a team.
