Trent Richardson vs. Bernard Pierce (1 Viewer)

Both of these guys were drafted in 2012, Richardson is turning 24 this year and Pierce is turning 25. Both are on new teams behind young RB's (Murray in OAK and Denard Robinson in JAX).

The odds are good that neither of these amount to much so I left off that option, but which one do you like better the rest of their career?

I'd say Richardson because the Raiders are that kid in preschool that keeps trying to smash that square into the round hole. Even if he's not effective, they'll still plug him in there. They went into the season with MJD and McFadden as their RB's, so it's clear to me that they don't know how to evaluate the position.

As for the Jags, they could be in a prime spot to land an RB with their 2nd round pick which could make Pierce a long shot to make the 53 man roster. Is Pierce really better than Robinson or Gerhart? No, not really.

If Richardson shows up to camp 30 pounds lighter, I'd be curious. That's all I got to say.
