I cannot imagine this is anything but bad for the Panthers

I am not sure it is going to bad for this year's season at least for those players who will get FFL drafted.

At first glance anyway I see this as a reshuffling at the top, brothers leaving one of them having given notice in July with the caveat "... Both will remain members of the franchise's ownership partnership group". Possibly the father's plan is for putting them up for sale and by them staying on the partnership group they still hold voting rights to side with their dad.

While a different environment than I am in this happens a ton of times in corporations from my experience, the employees (team players) in our case at Schwab soon grow immune to it all.

Jerry bought the team (with 2 others) for roughly 200 million in 1993, according to Forbes the Panthers are now valued at 900 million. Pretty good return on investment.

I seriously doubt that in July Jon told the team that he wanted to leave a week before the season. That is just coverup for something else.
