With all the Eagles injury issues and Vincent's familiarity with the team, wouldnt they consider it? Was his parting on bad terms? I dont recall anymore...

I don't think they parted badly, but I'm not sure how they would use him. Vincent was moved over to safety, and played pretty well IIRC. I think he has lost a step, and probably can't be a productive CB. With Lewis and Dawkins, I'm not sure how the Eagles could use him as a safety.

I would love to see the SD Chargers sign him. With the recent problems in the secondary with the safeties, (Terrence Kiel arrested, Bhawoh Jue out with injury) I think a veteran like Vincent would be a huge addition. Plus he has played corner for years so in a pinch he could move over to corner and play there if jammer, Florence Cromartie falter.

I could see the following teams interested in Vincent due to injuries (in no particular order):

Patriots

Dolphins

Chargers

Browns

Bengals

Saints (Harper just hurt, although Bellamy signed)

Eagles (for familiarity purposes more then injuries)

I would assume, however, that Vincent would want to have a chance at the Super Bowl and would like to stay in the northeast -- meaning:

Eagles

Patriots

maybe Bengals (not really northeast)

Given that his money from the Bills is guaranteed, I assume money would not be as motivating a factor as winning, familiarity, and not having to move family. But he has to prove he is healthy.

HE's still well liked in the region and has several businesses here. I don't think he would fit the needs of this team anymore though.

No, prob. just to retire as an Iggle. I'm pretty sure he's past his prime, specially for a CB. Altough Andy's loyal, I think he has his limits. His kids used to attend my X's summer camp in Northeastern PA, she always said how nice he was and would spend an hour signing autographs for the whole camp. good guy TV, not my X.

:D
