TRUMP TO INFINITY AND BEYOND HQ - The Great and Positive Place (5 Viewers)

Back in the summer of 2016, I predicted Trump would ride a coalition of white males and beautiful women to the presidency.  Judging from the crowd shots he has once again secured that coalition and added a lot of Blexiters.  He is looking like a force in 2020.

Sure...my questions have been pointed to start or keep conversation.  Asking people about what he has done...wondering why only Biden is a threat. And so on.

That is in good faith, people should be able to articulate and back up their support, assertions, and opinions.

I was actually trying to be nice. All you had to do was simple google search and you would’ve found a link. Sorry I didn’t do 100% of the work for you. I see being nice doesn’t do any good here either. No wonder you guys get so much crap from most of the posters on here.

I can repeat everything Mike Pense said if you'd like. Some of them are debatable, but, others are undeniable even if you disagree with them. 

Rebuilt our military, most military spending since Regan.

Wiped out ISIS (from Syria I presume).

Moved Israel embassy to Jerusalem, something several other presidents promised and never did. 

Increased access to care and resources for our Vets. 

Supported police to reduce crime rates. 

Implemented programs to address the opioid crisis. 

Spent a lot of effort and money to secure the boarder. 

Appointed two supreme court justices that will protect the second amendment and support right to life. 

Brought back jobs with lowest unemployment rates in 50 years. 

Cut taxes.

There was nothing wrong with your question at all and I was honestly trying to help. I didn’t go all out and do all the research for you but felt I gave you something to work on. I was at work as well.

1. I approve of some of this, but I’m concerned that the result has been more funding for antiquated technology rather than new programs. 

2. Good job. Trump deserves a thumbs up. 

3. Terrible move. This will cause us a lot of heartache in the future I fear. 

4. I think this was done under Obama (the McCain act) and Trump has executed it. But he really had nothing to do with the legislation which was passed in 2015. 

5. Don’t know much about this- are crime rates reduced? But Trump deserves credit for prison reform. 

6. I sure hope so. We’ll have to see how much effect it’s had. But the effort should be applauded. 

7. Not really. A huge failure on the part of the President and I’m glad about that. 

8. Well he appointed two justices anyhow. As to what they choose to protect we’ll have to wait and see. 

9. And 10. Yes. He deserves credit but we basically borrowed tons of money to do it. Was it worth it to increase our national debt as much as we have? I would say no. But that remains to be seen. 

So far as I am concerned, the few accomplishments here don’t make up for the bigotry, corruption, incompetence, attack on healthcare, foreign policy nightmares, destruction of norms, and trade policies. I think he’s been a near total disaster,  but then I am biased. 

 
Two take always I had:

Pense called out the Democrats for their socialist agenda and railed against Socialism vs freedom. Dems are going to get attacked as socialists. 

Trump railed against the witch hunt. He's going to us it in the campaign whether the Dems make it a campaign issue by trying impeachment or not.

2. As I noted earlier, this works with the base like the crowd tonight who are already voting for President Trump. But it only works with independents, perhaps, if the Democrats actually nominate a leftist candidate. If, for example, Biden is the nominee, this argument falls completely flat. 

3. Months ago I said that the Democrats could not use Russia effectively as a campaign tool, because independents don’t care. But that rule goes for Trump and the Republicans as well. He will not gain a single vote whining about the Witch Hunt IMO. First off, the subject doesn’t interest the average voter. Second, whenever he declares himself a victim it makes him look weak. “Look how mean the media is to me!” “Look how the deep state is out to destroy me!” That may work with his base but to everybody else it just makes him sound like a big #####.

1- What?  Is he French or something. 

2- Tend to agree, but maybe that's why the "running mate" brought it up. 

3- I tend to think it can't hurt grab em by the kitty tweet happy Trump. It could destroy the democrats.

Yes, the “Trump Years” thread among others should provide enough avenues for opposition.  I don’t know many Trump supporters in real life so it’s interesting to me to read their thoughts.

Sho, no offense, but anything YOU post, no matter what it is, will not be taken in good faith by this crowd, even if it is done in good faith. It will be seen as an attack, because, well, history. 

 
Police Stop Far-Right Proud Boys From Reaching Anti-Trump Protest in Orlando

Members of the far-right Proud Boys men’s group repeatedly tried to confront an anti-Trump demonstration in Orlando on Tuesday, only to be blocked by police.

The Proud Boys, a self-described group of “Western chauvinists,” have repeatedly been involved in violence at political events. Several Proud Boys were arrested last year for an attack that followed a speech by Proud Boys founder Gavin McInnes. The group once had a paramilitary wing, and offers its highest “fourth degree” honor to members who got in a fight for the cause—although McInnes eventually “clarified” that the award would only be given out for self-defense.
