Drafted him this season = giddyup.

Started him week 1 (7.70) = decent.

Started him week 2 (1.20) = first bad performance, RG3 got injured - no biggie.

Benched him week 3 (21.80) = unfortunate.

Started him weeks 4 (3.30) & 5 (2.30) = bad call.

Benched him weeks 6 (9.10) & 7 (15.70) = bummer.

Started him week 8 (4.70) = dumb.

Benched him weeks 9 (1.50), 10 (bye), 11 (0.60), 12 (3.40), 13 (0.90) = good call.

Held him all season = definitely a bad call.

Still holding him - probably dumb, but...

P.Garcon's last solid performance was week 7, largely after K.Cousins was benched and C.McCoy was handling the ball.

C.McCoy looks to have secured the starting QB spot for WAS for week 14.

J.Reed benefited largely from C.McCoy's return as starter for week 13.

With D.Jackson dealing with his leg injury and not practicing today, I am doubting he will play.

While P.Garcon should benefit from D.Jackson sitting,

Do you think his increased potential is enough to warrant considering starting him?

I have considered him a drop candidate for the past 5 weeks, but until picking up K.Stills when B.Cooks got injured, I wasn't comfortable with my WR depth to actually drop him, because he used to be good (1346 yards, 5 TDs in 2013).

Now, even with D.Bryant, K.Stills, and one of my WR3s, I am having a hard time considering him a drop candidate... until D.Jackson is active again.

This is the most mind boggling bust of the year
I wouldn't say the most mind boggling. I don't want to sound like captain hindsight but I think the consensus believed his targets would drop rather substantially from last year. He also was never a huge RZ threat and obviously more of a possession receiver. He's definitely going to finish well below expectations but I think there were more mind boggling busts at WR this year, specifically those whose situations didn't change or improved from last year.

i agree most people thought he drop from a low end wr1 to a middling wr2 cuz of the addition of djax and a full season of reed. Meanwhile reed missed many games so that had no impact and he is barely a wr4. I think thats the mind boggling part.

I drafted him and cut him some weeks ago. Talent is there, but way too unpredictible output. 3 QBs and clubhouse mess hasn't helped.

Wouldn't touch him this time of year. Would much rather go with a guy like Charles Johnson in MIN or even a wr3/wr4 guy on a pass happy team than him. (Moncrief, Wes Welker, etc)

There has to be another WR on your team that is on a team that is heading in the right direction, and doesn't historically need 14 targets to have a nice stat line, and doesn't play with Colt McCoy.

I don't know if I'm ready to scapegoat McCoy either. Passed for 394 yards, and Garçon only gets nine of them? What's wrong with this picture?

Happily benched Garcon for Odell Beckham weeks ago.

One of the things that I've noticed about Garcon is that he can't seem to separate from defenders anymore when running a route. Watched him against Richard Sherman when they played Seattle and against Vontae Davis, and he couldn't shake either of them. Sherman's quote may be right that "Pierre doesn't matter in this league" .

Garcon is droppable in 10 and 12-team leagues. McCoy makes goo-goo eyes for Jordan Reed anyway. Garcon is really a catch-and-run guy and not really a great route-runner. He has to get the ball in space and in stride to be effective. And Gruden's offense doesn't seem to make an emphasis on that style.

May roll out Garçon over Crabtree and Baldwin. 9 targets last week, DeSean questionable - stars may align this week.

Reed is the play if DJax is out.
Not really. St. Louis is good against TEs. One TD to TEs since week 1 and only 1TE has had more than 10 points in PPR. That includes playing against JThomas, Gates, Witten, Rudolph, Kelce, VDavis x2 and Ertz/Celek. Not Gronk/Graham, but a decent list of TEs with only some dude named Helfert having a good PPR game.I'm thinking about playing Garçon just based on situation. If he has one more good week this is probably it.
