Something I never thought I'd contemplate: Sister's going cableless and just wants something in the 36-40" range that will get her local channels. Any particular options better than others for this?

I know Samsung and likely other brands come with built in apps like Netflix, etc.

I don't think TVs come with built-in Over-the-Air antennas anymore, but you can hook up an HD one with a basic coax cable. As long as there's an ANT IN jack anything should do. ilove80s makes a good point that apps might be useful for a cable-less house, if not now possibly in the future.

Which is strange because all I need for my outside tv is the Ota for football.
