Hi Guys love the show,

Followed the advice last week and it contributed to a solid win.

If you had to pick an RB2 out of these, whom would it be:

Maroney

Moreno

McCoy

I am leaning Maroney (Dolphins) over Moreno (Steelers) due to matchup. Thoughts?

Great show guys!

I have the mix and match goof troop at RB this year in a start 2 no flex no PPR league. The troop includes Westbrook, Lynch, Moreno, C Wells, J Charles, B Scott (having just shipped off Portis for Moreno). As you can guess my scoring at the position has been dismal all year. In order to get a solid RB people pretty much just want Fitz or Wayne. Trading one of them would lead to a platoon of Walter and Bryant at my WR3 to go with the other and Boldin/Breaston.

Would you shop one of those guys for a solid stud RB or would you keep your WRs as a strength and trust that you can mix and match?

QB--Warner Leinart

RB--above

WR--Fitz, Wayne, Boldin, Bryant, Walter, Breaston

TE--D Clark

1. Steve Slaton - What to expect?, Buy Low?

Would you trade Kevin Smith for Steve Slaton?

2. 370 Curse - Do you buy it?

T. Davis, J. Anderson, Edge, LJ, and S. Alexander had over 370 rushes in one season followed by injury or under-performing. M. Turnes started slow. Do you think any RB will rush 370 times this year (C. Benson and AD come to mind).

Thanks

Do you think the Texans will still try to make the TE position an integral and heavily utilized part of the passing game? If so, will there be one primary beneficiary or will the TE looks simply be spread between the three remaining TEs on the roster?

Or do you feel that overall TE involvement in the passing game will go down significantly making none of the remaining TEs viable plays the rest of the way?

Love the podcasts guys :bag:

A general question regarding dynasty leagues for you guys this week. At what point in the season do you think it is time to build for next year? I am currently 3-5 and quite unlucky to be that. I have three division games remaining on the schedule and I find myself only two games back on the division leader. When should I build for the future?

If you think it is a good idea to think 2010 and beyond, what players would you target?

Scoring: PPR, 6 pts per TD pass, standard scoring

Thanks guys!

Sup guys! Great stuff as always. Quick question... brought to you byyyyyyy-eeee.... LOL

Schaub or Hass this week? Last time I sat Schaub (vs Cin) for Hass (vs Ari), Schaub went off and Hass got me a nice goose-egg.

I vowed not to bench Schaub anymore, but will the loss of Owen affect him enough to bench him this week til' we see how they do? Hass does have a juicy matchup this week, hence my dilemma.

Thanks guys!

Great show as always. Have a few questions:

1) In a Non-PPR standard scoring league I need to fill a 1 RB spot, 2 WR spots and a Flex. I'm thinking Westy, J. Jones, BMarsh and Maclin but it kills me to leave Moreno and Megatron on my bench due to matchup/injury concerns. Right choice?

2) What's the deal with Ryan Moats? Is he a legit waiver wire gem? Would you play him over Moreno or Bradshaw this week (PPR League)?

3) Did signing the Terrible Towel actually release the curse?

Oh...and GO BRONCOS!

Thanks guys for the show!

Who do you like better the rest of the way (standard, non-ppr) between Floyd and Nicks? Manning typically has a late season swoon and the weather will not favor the pass as much up there. Floyd is now getting all the reps on the other side of Jackson.

Just wondering if you have any contacts that have watched Houston practice to see how the reps are being split in practice between Moats and Slaton.

Several questions for you guys tonight. I'm playing the only team with a better record than me in the league (thanks Slaton for the loss last week), so I could use a win to pull even again.

1) Who is the better start at QB this week: Schaub at IND or McNabb vs. the Cowboys? I'm leaning toward McNabb this week, but I don't want to sit Schaub if it's close;

2) With ADP on a bye and the Texans new RBBC situation, who is the better RB2 (non-ppr) start for this week: Jamaal Charles vs. JAX, Slaton vs. IND, or Ahmad Bradshaw vs. SD?

3) For this week's flex, pick one of these guys: Steve Smith (NYG), Steve Smith (CAR), or one of the two RBs that didn't make the cut for question #2 above?

By the way, thanks for the Twitter suggestion to start CAR Steve Smith last week, Sig. He did slightly better than the NYG version, so that makes up for the week prior when you suggested Maroney over Slaton. But, since I went with my gut and kept Slaton in that week anyway, everything worked out well.

Great show guys and thanks for the advice!

1) Sig, curious on a couple of your rankings this week, my initial thoughts differ from your rankings. Cadillac seems high and Ocho seems low, both are PPR.

By your rankings Cadillac is waaay above Bradshaw- is this because of Bradshaw's foot? IMO Bradshaw is on a better run offense and going against a weaker run defense and both guys split carries.

Also Hester and J. Charles are over Ocho. with Hester banged up I'm thinking of sitting him (need 2 of the 3), IMO Ocho has reached stud status.

Can you explain?

2) Do either Boldin or Ocho have as much value as K. Smith in a PPR dynasty?

Just typing this question makes me nauseous: should I start Maurice Morris or Bryant Johnson and why? This is a standard scoring, non-PPR league.

:goodposting:

Thanks for the hard work guys, great show.

12 team standard league, start 2 RBs, 3 WRs

Have Rice, Grant, F. Jackson, L. McLain, Kolby Smith at RB

Have R. Moss, Jennings, Ocho, H. Nicks, Bryant, Floyd at WR

Would you trade Nicks for McGahee? Is he the true handcuff to Rice and do I give up Nicks to get him? Thanks.

I've talked to multiple friends who are in a similar bind, so I hope this isn't just a  question:

Any waiver wire RBs that you think are startable in a pinch this week? Most of my leagues about the best you could do would be someone like Forsett or maybe a Kevin Faulk.

Hi guys,

Great show as always.

2 questions :

1. Playoffs.....I wanna talk about....PLAYOFFS??? Which teams are you looking at to get players from for a playoff run? I have read that Arizona has an easy fantasy playoff schedule, but are there any others that you are going after?

2. The Miami receiver situation. Do you like any dynasty wise? Ginn, Hartline, Camarillo, Bess, maybe even Turner?

Keep up the awesome work.

Can you guys touch on the two rookie OT in Jacksonville (Monroe/Britton) and their progress and what is in store in the future of MJD and the Jacksonville running game? Great things?

And I was hoping you guys could try and look into the future and tell us what do you think about Derek Mason's future? Will he really retire? He doesn't look like he is losing ANYTHING, he looks great

The audible seriously helps get me through the week, just wish the Daniel Jeremiah ask 5 show was longer. And special plans for upcoming shows? Dynasty show? 2010 draft show? Your work is always gold and the more the better, GREAT WORK

The Audible RULES. O'Doyle RULES.

Jason Witten...good things to come? Or trade on name value and play guys in PPR like Keller/Shaincoe instead?

Who are you guys trying to make a move for right now in your dynasty leagues for the future?

Do you guys think now is the time to try and get Crabtree before he becomes a top ten PPR guy?

What about the under performing Dwayne Bowe, is he a good buy low? Would you give up a top 3-5 2010 rookie draft pick for him?

Quick and Simple guys

who do I start this week:

Carson Palmer vs BAL

David Garrard vs KC

Thanks and great show (as always)!!

1. Mike Sims-Walker or Burleson this week?

2. Fred Davis or Greg Olsen this week?

3. Shonn Greene still worth a pick-up? Impatient owner just dropped him in my league..

Thanks fellas!

Guys his Slaton fumbling mess is killing me. Is he going to get the rock this week and should I feel comfortable starting him?

Thanks.

Word, killahs,

Going forward in a "PPR-for-WRs/TEs-only" league:

Westbrook/McCoy + Steve Smith(NYG)

or

C. Johnson/L. White + Mike Sims-Walker

or

Gore/Coffee + Mike Sims-Walker

Would love to hear your opinions and reasons you'd choose which of those three groups.

Many thanks.

evening gentlemen...

Looking at the previous questions it appears to be the night of the Slaton.

I traded LT and the Vikes for Slaton and the Saints in a 3 keeper league...hoping it is a push for this yr...but I look at it as a big upgrade at RB for the future.

In another league...ppr...we play up to 6 wr's......over the last couple of wks I picked up a couple of NE WR's in Aiken and Tate hoping one of them may emerge as a viable wr 4 for me....but w/ byes and injuries I may have to press one of them into action this wk....view for this wk, and for the long run in dynasty for these two young men.

as always I'll be enjoying w/ a glass of the Black

Jack Black that is...thanks guys

hey guys, great show, i'm a regular listener.

quick question -- in a 14 team, redraft, standard scoring league, i have two trade offers on the table. which post-trade roster would you prefer? we start 1 qb, 2 rbs, 2 wrs, 1 rb/wr flex, 1 te, 1 k, 1 def. the bolded names are the players i would be receiving in each proposed trade.

trade 1:

garrard

s-jax, turner, beanie, mcfadden, forsett, snelling

BRAYLON, sims-walker, avery, royal, mike wallace, a. gonzalez

SHOCKEY, fred davis

keading

BEARS, texans

(giving up jamal charles, scheffler, bills D)

trade 2:

garrard

ANDRE JOHNSON, sims-walker, avery, royal, COLLIE, mike wallace

scheffler, fred davis

keading

bills, texans

thanks guys!

Hey guys love the show!

I've been offered a trade of DWill, Jacobs, and Gates for my Gore, Forte, and Celek. I was looking to trade Forte to get another top 10 RB, but this trade would leave me with a top 10 and a top 20. I like the upgrades over Gore and Celek, what do you guys think?

Great show guys. Questions moving forward:

1. Can you reference a few players that look good to become valuable starters next year that can be picked up now in keeper leagues? (e.g., James Davis)

2. As a Romo owner, I am concerned about the Romo fade at the end of the season. He pretty must cost me the championship the last two years. Is there any QBs that may be available in 12 people leagues (Alex Smith, Stafford, Henne, Freeman, Delhomme) that might be worth starting over Romo in the fantasy playoffs. (my backup is Garrard).

3. Which of the following TEs would you recommend to pick up to back up Witten for the rest of the season, Scaife, Lee, Finley, Scheffler, Fasano, Pettigrew, Lewis, Boss, Casey)?

thanks guys

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the help the last few weeks!

here goes!

Garrard vs. KC

or

Schaub at Indy

RB 2

Donald Brown vs Houston

Hightower at Chicago

Forsett vs Detroit

And lastly if Calvin Johnson plays should I start him and if not which of these?

Malcolm Floyd at Giants

Kevin Walter at Indy

Thanks again guys and keep up the fantastic work and stay classy!!!!

Hi Guys,

After what I thought was a very good draft I find myself in second to last place  I need to win THIS week in order to have any chance of making the playoffs. My record is 2-6, my opponent is 7-1. He has a surplus of WRs and has offered me the following:

I know Moss is the big ticket player, but my other WRs are not very good (Bowe - underperforming, Eddie Royal - disaster, Coles -just as bad, Floyd, and Garcon).

He has also offered me Turner and Austin or Jennings for Rice. Would this be better?

Below is my roster:

PLEASE HELP! Do I do the trade???

hey guys, loving the show as always....it's Friday afternoon here in Australia...I have my chicken tikka masala and I am ready to roll.

Got a quick trade question for you. I'm not sure why I have any doubts here because this one seems like a no brainer to me but I value your opinion so I will run it by you.

This is a very shallow(start 8, bench 8) non PPR redraft league, start 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR flex. I'm reasonably well stocked at RB & WR, I have Ray Rice, SJax, D Bowe, Andre Johnson and Steve Smith (CAR) as my core guys there. I also have Felix Jones and Choice on my bench so I went after the MB3 owner and have offered him Jones/Choice for Ryan Grant. After coming up against the Williams wall, it felt like a really good buy low moment for Grant. Like I said, this one seems like a no brainer to me and I am ready to pull the trigger, gives me quality depth at RB for two guys who are essentially only going to stay on my bench unless MB3 goes down.....and then might be hard pressed to get in the lineup anyway. Felix is boom bust every week & I guess Choice has RB1 upside with an MB3 injury but I feel like I'm better off getting some quality insurance for my RB's in case they get injured down the stretch.

What ?? do you see for Ryan Grant going forward here that perhaps I have not considered.

Love the show guys!

Better in redraft ppr the rest of the year: Hakeem Nicks or Michael Crabtree

Also which 3 would you play this week in ppr?

Megatron

Ocho

Bowe

Sims-Walker

Crabtree

how comfortable would you be running the wildcat (both ronnie and ricky) out there this week in New England?

start two RBs and i've got donald brown and beanie wells on the bench in non-ppr, 50/50 scoring league

appreciate it and great show!

Warner vs. BearsorSchaub vs. ColtsandFred Davis vs. FalconsorBoss vs. Chargers
Schaub and Davis - Schaub and Warner are tight, neither has a great matchup, but i think more chance for disaster in Warner's matchup than Schaub's. Davis looked great on MNF in week 7 and I think he'll be the second option in the passing game.

CJ and MSW - I think the WRs are basically a wash, looking for upside at RB, something CJ is synonymous with, also TEN is through the toughest part of their sked.

Aiken is more of a special teamer, but one with surprising speed based on that Tampa game before the byeTate could be special, I think he's just as good as Maclin, fell to 3rd b/c of off the field stuff and shredded knee

I like the first deal better. Turner is hot, and RBs are more important in nonPPR - both are good deals, deals that you win, but I like the first better

1. Talked about this in the lightning round - check out the podcast2. Warner is the QB that comes to mind that might be one to target for the playoffs - DET and STL in 15/163. i would go with a boom/bust option boss or scheffler, but finley as soon as he's healthy

Schaub, even though you risk a big game from Garrard on your bench based on his home performances this year, i just cant trust him after weekHightower at RB, should get a lot of receptions again as CHI harasses Warner into checkdownsCalvin in if he plays over those options.

very UNcomfortable. If NE jumps out to a lead, the wildcat gets abandoned, with two weeks to prepare I think NE will be ready for the wildcat. I would play Brown over Ricky as long as he's active, Wells over Ricky if Brown doesnt go.

Why wouldn't Ronnie Brown be active? I haven't seen anything saying he could be injured. :wall:

It all depends on who you would get to upgrade from. The drop from Moss to Jennings is steep, as Moss gets to face two rookie corners and the Pats are well-rested coming off a bye. If you are really hard up at one of your starting WR spots, I would take Austin and do the deal, but it depends on how hard up you really are.
