I need to win THIS week in order to have any chance of making the playoffs. My record is 2-6, my opponent is 7-1. He has a surplus of WRs and has offered me the following:Schaub and Davis - Schaub and Warner are tight, neither has a great matchup, but i think more chance for disaster in Warner's matchup than Schaub's. Davis looked great on MNF in week 7 and I think he'll be the second option in the passing game.Warner vs. BearsorSchaub vs. ColtsandFred Davis vs. FalconsorBoss vs. Chargers
I still have Slaton as a viable RB2 play this week, especially in PPR leagues.Guys his Slaton fumbling mess is killing me. Is he going to get the rock this week and should I feel comfortable starting him? Thanks.
CJ and MSW - I think the WRs are basically a wash, looking for upside at RB, something CJ is synonymous with, also TEN is through the toughest part of their sked.Word, killahs,Going forward in a "PPR-for-WRs/TEs-only" league:Westbrook/McCoy + Steve Smith(NYG)orC. Johnson/L. White + Mike Sims-WalkerorGore/Coffee + Mike Sims-WalkerWould love to hear your opinions and reasons you'd choose which of those three groups. Many thanks.
Aiken is more of a special teamer, but one with surprising speed based on that Tampa game before the byeTate could be special, I think he's just as good as Maclin, fell to 3rd b/c of off the field stuff and shredded kneeevening gentlemen...Looking at the previous questions it appears to be the night of the Slaton.I traded LT and the Vikes for Slaton and the Saints in a 3 keeper league...hoping it is a push for this yr...but I look at it as a big upgrade at RB for the future. In another league...ppr...we play up to 6 wr's......over the last couple of wks I picked up a couple of NE WR's in Aiken and Tate hoping one of them may emerge as a viable wr 4 for me....but w/ byes and injuries I may have to press one of them into action this wk....view for this wk, and for the long run in dynasty for these two young men.as always I'll be enjoying w/ a glass of the BlackJack Black that is...thanks guys
I like the first deal better. Turner is hot, and RBs are more important in nonPPR - both are good deals, deals that you win, but I like the first betterhey guys, great show, i'm a regular listener.
quick question -- in a 14 team, redraft, standard scoring league, i have two trade offers on the table. which post-trade roster would you prefer? we start 1 qb, 2 rbs, 2 wrs, 1 rb/wr flex, 1 te, 1 k, 1 def. the bolded names are the players i would be receiving in each proposed trade.

s-jax, turner, beanie, mcfadden, forsett, snelling
BRAYLON, sims-walker, avery, royal, mike wallace, a. gonzalez
SHOCKEY, fred davis
keading
BEARS, texans
(giving up jamal charles, scheffler, bills D)
trade 2:
garrard
s-jax, beanie, CADILLAC, jamaal charles, forsett, snelling
ANDRE JOHNSON, sims-walker, avery, royal, COLLIE, mike wallace
scheffler, fred davis
keading
bills, texans
(giving up turner, mcfadden, a. gonzalez)

Love it - RBs are basically a wash, but you get an upgrade at TEHey guys love the show!I've been offered a trade of DWill, Jacobs, and Gates for my Gore, Forte, and Celek. I was looking to trade Forte to get another top 10 RB, but this trade would leave me with a top 10 and a top 20. I like the upgrades over Gore and Celek, what do you guys think?
1. Talked about this in the lightning round - check out the podcast2. Warner is the QB that comes to mind that might be one to target for the playoffs - DET and STL in 15/163. i would go with a boom/bust option boss or scheffler, but finley as soon as he's healthyGreat show guys. Questions moving forward:1. Can you reference a few players that look good to become valuable starters next year that can be picked up now in keeper leagues? (e.g., James Davis)2. As a Romo owner, I am concerned about the Romo fade at the end of the season. He pretty must cost me the championship the last two years. Is there any QBs that may be available in 12 people leagues (Alex Smith, Stafford, Henne, Freeman, Delhomme) that might be worth starting over Romo in the fantasy playoffs. (my backup is Garrard).3. Which of the following TEs would you recommend to pick up to back up Witten for the rest of the season, Scaife, Lee, Finley, Scheffler, Fasano, Pettigrew, Lewis, Boss, Casey)?thanks guys
Schaub, even though you risk a big game from Garrard on your bench based on his home performances this year, i just cant trust him after weekHightower at RB, should get a lot of receptions again as CHI harasses Warner into checkdownsCalvin in if he plays over those options.Hi Guys,Thanks for the help the last few weeks!here goes!Garrard vs. KCor Schaub at IndyRB 2Donald Brown vs HoustonHightower at ChicagoForsett vs DetroitAnd lastly if Calvin Johnson plays should I start him and if not which of these?Malcolm Floyd at GiantsKevin Walter at IndyThanks again guys and keep up the fantastic work and stay classy!!!!don
I like it if only to get Grant for his terrific matchup this week vs TB and the second matchup vs DET on thanksgivinghey guys, loving the show as always....it's Friday afternoon here in Australia...I have my chicken tikka masala and I am ready to roll.Got a quick trade question for you. I'm not sure why I have any doubts here because this one seems like a no brainer to me but I value your opinion so I will run it by you. This is a very shallow(start 8, bench 8) non PPR redraft league, start 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 RB/WR flex. I'm reasonably well stocked at RB & WR, I have Ray Rice, SJax, D Bowe, Andre Johnson and Steve Smith (CAR) as my core guys there. I also have Felix Jones and Choice on my bench so I went after the MB3 owner and have offered him Jones/Choice for Ryan Grant. After coming up against the Williams wall, it felt like a really good buy low moment for Grant. Like I said, this one seems like a no brainer to me and I am ready to pull the trigger, gives me quality depth at RB for two guys who are essentially only going to stay on my bench unless MB3 goes down.....and then might be hard pressed to get in the lineup anyway. Felix is boom bust every week & I guess Choice has RB1 upside with an MB3 injury but I feel like I'm better off getting some quality insurance for my RB's in case they get injured down the stretch. What ?? do you see for Ryan Grant going forward here that perhaps I have not considered.
CrabtreeBowe, 85, Crabtree - MSW barely misses b/c of Crabtree's strong PPR playLove the show guys! Better in redraft ppr the rest of the year: Hakeem Nicks or Michael CrabtreeAlso which 3 would you play this week in ppr?MegatronOchoBoweSims-WalkerCrabtree
very UNcomfortable. If NE jumps out to a lead, the wildcat gets abandoned, with two weeks to prepare I think NE will be ready for the wildcat. I would play Brown over Ricky as long as he's active, Wells over Ricky if Brown doesnt go.how comfortable would you be running the wildcat (both ronnie and ricky) out there this week in New England? start two RBs and i've got donald brown and beanie wells on the bench in non-ppr, 50/50 scoring leagueappreciate it and great show!
Why wouldn't Ronnie Brown be active? I haven't seen anything saying he could be injured.very UNcomfortable. that's referring to Donald Brown, not Ronnie, sorry for not making that clearerWhy wouldn't Ronnie Brown be active? I haven't seen anything saying he could be injured.very UNcomfortable. It all depends on who you would get to upgrade from. The drop from Moss to Jennings is steep, as Moss gets to face two rookie corners and the Pats are well-rested coming off a bye. If you are really hard up at one of your starting WR spots, I would take Austin and do the deal, but it depends on how hard up you really are.JetsFanTasyBarbie said:Sig, Help a lady out! After what I thought was a very good draft I find myself in second to last place I need to win THIS week in order to have any chance of making the playoffs.
