Great to have you guys back! Hope Thanksgivings went well for you!

WDIS PPR

Need 3 to start out of this list

Maclin, Benson, Mason, Wells, Crabtree, Garcon

Also should I look to replace Carney as my kicker this week? It's hard to imagine the Saints stalling out against the WASH def this weekend.

I started 0-5, now with some good trades I have almost won out and now have a shot at the playoffs. Thanks for all the help!

WDIS, non-PPR, start 2

Miles Austin (@NYG) -- i am planning on starting him

Steve Smith (vs TB) -- i am leaning towards starting him based on the matchup and the fact that a new QB (Matt Moore if starting) could be a positive

Greg Jennings (vs BAL on MNF) -- hit or miss with lots of misses this season, but sometimes the big stage of MNF can be good for "former" studs

Santana Moss (vs NO) -- not a good start most weeks, but the Saints score a lot and Moss could benefit from a lot of passing

waiver wire options -- Garcon (vs TEN), DHenderson (@WSH), Knox (vs StL), Britt (@IND), MClayton (@ GB)

Thanks!

I could really use a win this week to secure a first-round bye in the playoffs (non-ppr):

1) Which is the better WR to start this week: Jeremy Maclin vs. ATL, Steve Smith (CAR) vs. TB, or Steve Smith (NYG) vs. DAL?

2) I'm starting three RBs (two regular, one in the flex spot), so which three of these would you suggest: ADP, Ryan Grant, Mendenhall, Forsett, Beanie Wells, or Slaton? ADP is a no-brainer, but the other two spots are wide open.

3) If Celek can't go this week, who is the better TE waiver pickup to replace him (temporarily). Here are some available TEs: Keller, Scaife, Zach Miller, Carlson, and Scheffler.

Thanks for the help, and I can't wait to listen to the show!

Thanks Guys!!! I am returning to the playoffs hoping for a REPEAT!!! league title.

1. Who do you like for the playoff rounds (W14-16) Antonio Bryant (NYJ, @ SEA, @ NO) or Chris Chambers (BUF, CLE, @ CIN)?

2. Waiver Wire D: I have NYG for W15 (@WAS) and W16 (CAR), do you think they will improve on D?

3. IDP's: which teams should I target for the most TACKLE opportunities?

Hey Guys,

Great show last week!

I'm got the Mike Walker vs. Kevin Walter vs. Houzhmanzadeh decision (PPR) in a couple of leagues where I have to start two (2) of these guys... so, who sits?

Also, in a league where WRs get PPR starting at reception #6 and TEs get PPR starting at reception #3, who do you start between Greg Jennings vs. Bo Scaife? (1pt per 20yds)

Thanks a lot

I hope everyone had a great holiday! I'll make a quick plug for those listeners who aren't subscribers, I'm in 4 leagues and I'm currently ranked 1st in one, and 2nd in the other three, and I owe it all to Footballguys.com and their excellent advice...well, expect for that call two weeks ago to play Freeman over Stafford, but other than that, definitely join up.

I do have a pair of quick questions:

1. I keep looking in disbelief at my line-up (non-PPR TD heavy) with Chris Chambers and Percy Harvin in the starting line-up and Megatron and Greg Jennings on the bench, but the streaky nature of the latter two really has me worried to play them over the former. Can you quell my anxiety?

2. So I've got this Miles Austin character on my team (PPR yards heavy league) along with Reggie Wayne, Sidney Rice and Andre Johnson, and he is just so dang feast or famine each week. I tend to want to stay with the more reliable trio in Wayne, Rice, and Johnson, but it's hard to keep Austin's Chris Johnson-like potential for ridonkulous point scoring on the bench. Thoughts???

Thanks guys,

Coloradan Stuck in Texas

Sigmund, as you mentioned on the IDP podcast, this is a week where every single point will count.

That being said, can you discuss which Def/ST you like better this week.

The Bears vs. the Offensive line decimated Rams

or

Philly vs. the weak Offensive lined Falcons?

Another WDIS thread, and like everyone else this is THE week. 7 teams tied at 6-6 (including myself) and a win gets me in to the playoffs in this 12 man.

NON PPR

1 point 10 yds rush/red

6 pts TD

Pick ONE of these ugly options (Traded Jacobs, then Ronnie Brown went down leaving me with this)

Snelling vs. PHI

Norwood v. PHI

Devin Hester vs. STL

Chester Taylor @ ARI

Beanie Wells vs. MIN

Hi guys, thanks for all of the insight.

Non PPR league need 2 RBs:

DeAngelo

Grant

Moreno

Snelling

Then need 3 WRs:

Boldin, Manningham, Floyd, S Moss, Gaffney

Missed you guys last week.. just didn't feel right.

1. I've been holding onto Julius Jones, was ready to drop him with Forsett's resurgence and now I'm reading Mora wants Jones as the starter again. Should I keep Julius Jones or drop him for Rock Cartwright or Chris Jennings?

2. Need 1 RB out of : Pierre Thomas, Norwood, Julius Jones, Cartwright (dropping Julius or Norwood), and Chris Jennings (dropping Julius or Norwood)

3. Need a WR: Roddy White vs. Eagles or Nate Burleson vs. 49ers?

It often happens that we hear about receivers over the summer who look good, but disappear from the radar once the season begins. Then they show up a few years later in a big way: T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Bernard Berrian, and Mike Sims-Walker are examples.

I would like to hear your takes on some of these players you could vulture off a waiver wire in dynasty leagues with this type of potential. Here's a few candidates to get the memory jogged, but would enjoy knowing who else comes to mind for you guys:

Patrick Turner

Harry Douglas

Mike Thomas

Kevin Ogletree

To start this weekend

need 3 WR, 1 TE, and 1 flex out of:

(basically need to pick one of these 6 guys to sit.) non ppr

WR's

R Moss @ MIA

Calvin Johnson @ CIN

Mike Sims-Walker v HOU

S Smith (NYG) v DAL

TE's

T Gonzalez v PHI

G Olsen v STL

ALSO

have Desean Jackson (@ ATL) but am assuming he won't play Sunday. If he does should I play him instead of another or play it safe.

Thanks, (for doing the show, putting in the time, and helping all of us)

What's up Fellas?!

One early game question and a few of questions about the weekend games:

First, Lee Evans got twelve :wall: targets in Buffalo's first matchup against the Jets... is that solely a function of Revis covering TO? I'm digging deep for a WR3 here, but do you roll out Lee Evans over guys like Jason Avant or Johnny Knox?

Next, I'm hurting at RB (RBrown, MTurner :bs: ) and need to make a choice between Chester Taylor and Felix Jones (it's PPR)... whatcha got?

Lastly, would you flex Darren Sproles vs. Corell Buckhalter... help me Cecil! Is it all Moreno this weekend? Will the donks give Buckhalter some garbage time rushes? Or will KC beat them like last year ( :bs: )?

Thanks, as always

Hey guys, great job.

2 questions...

Which D this week? TBY @ CAR, CAR vs TBY, SEA vs SF

Which WR for my bench the rest of the way? Avant, Braynt, Nicks

Thanks.

What do you think of the value of these 3 young WRs for the next few years? FF Studs, possible every week starters, or spot starters?

Michael Crabtree - Will they ever have a good QB? Does he have the athleticism to be a big success?

Jeremy Maclin - How is he coming along this year? Will he always be 2nd fiddle to Jackson?

Pierre Garcon - Does his athleticism put him as a future contributer for the Colts or have we seen the best of him?

Hey guys - will be listening again tonight, always hit it even if I can't catch it live. I have a must win this week for th playoffs and need a starting QB choice. Would love to hear the pluses and minuses on these 3:

Hasselbeck vs. SF - has killed me lately ...big time. SF isn't great against the pass but fairly decent overall D

Orton vs. KC - I am headed here for now but understand that DEN simply may not pass much so pretty limited upside - even though KC has allowed 5 passing TDs over the last 2 games

Redman vs. PHI - guy has been good in sub roles and PHI has injury probs in their 2ndary

Sig - I see that you have Orton ahead of the other two but I would like to hear your and Cecil's take from the upside vs. risk side of things.

Tks
