Are they the real McCoys?

LeSean McCoy- do you think he has the talent to be a feature RB in the long term. After watching a highlight video from last year I did not come away impressed, would now be the time to move him (sell high) or will he prove to be a PPR stud moving forward?

Colt McCoy- I picked him up at the end of the 4th round in a rookie draft, as not much else was left. Do you see him worth hanging onto in a 12 team,1QB start, 24 player roster?

Hey Guys,

For those of us competing in early drafts, would you please give us your take on those players currently being drafted outside the seventh round who could end up producing at a first or second round level. For instance, any of these guys (by position):

QB: Eli Manning? Kevin Kolb? Alex Smith?

RB: Ahmad Bradshaw? Monterrio Hardesty? Michael Bush?

WR: Devin Hester? Santana Moss? Donald Driver?

TE: Chris Cooley? Heath Miller? Dustin Keller?

Also, I keep hearing people say that ARZ and PIT will run the more more effectively because of their troubles at QB; I understand clarity and committment from an offense can yield positive results, but wouldn't you expect the QB troubles to counteract those qualities? I'm thinking specifically in terms of the fantasy production of Mendenhall and Wells.

Thanks

Jermichael Finley. A recent thread in the Shark Pool had pretty diverging projections for him (including a record-setting year). But all were still very optimistic. Considering the depth of TEs today and Finley's situation (including reports of immaturity), I'd like to know your thoughts about him in non-PPR redraft and dynasty?

In a non-PPR, 12-team league with TE required, in which redraft round would take him?

In same league, but dynasty, which TEs do you rank ahead of him?

And lastly, how much risk is there (one-year wonder, immaturity, system, etc.)?

Simple question: When and with who will Tashard Choice get his turn?

Thanks for answering my question!!!

Is 2010 Detroit the new fantasy version of the GB Packers? In years past we have franchises like the Marshall Faulk Rams, the Rich Gannon Raiders and Manning-led Colts where it's in fantasy owners best interests to invest in as many players from that team due to the offensive production across the offensive unit. Green Bay was that team last year. Is it crazy to think that Detroit will step into that mold in 2010 and be an offensive juggernaut for the foreseeable future? Their young core nucleus of talent is undeniable.

Rodgers : Stafford

Grant : Best/Smith

Jennings : C. Johnson

Driver : Burleson

Finley : Pettigrew

Guys,

1. I'm playing in my first ever contract league this year where players are assigned contracts varying in length from one to five years. What general strategies do you employ in leagues like this?

2. How do you see the Chicago Bears situation at WR shaking out? Devin Aromashodu seems to be a favourite and is getting a lot of positive press, but are we forgetting about the positive strides taken by Earl Bennett in 2009 in what was only his second season? Who will be the number one target for Jay Cutler in that offense? Who is your money on?

Thanks fellas,

Dave

fellas, i hear people say that sammie stroughter is "just a slot guy" but welker's a "slot guy" who led our PPR league in points per game last year. i understand they are two different styles of offense, but knowing where he plays does not inform us of his fantasy potential. so, what do you think is the range of his statistical upside?

also, i hate to cut bait too early on kenny mckinley but with decker and thomas now in tow, and gaffney, stokely, and royal on the roster, what are the chances that mckinley makes any kind of impact in 2011 or beyond?

:rockzo drop:

thanks guys.

Who do you feel are some good "throw-ins" in dynasty trades that could produce? Guys like Malcolm Kelly/Devin Thomas, Jacoby Jones, Louis Murphy, Mike Thomas come to mind. Looking to see who will break-out and who is fool's gold.

Hey guys. Love the show. I was wondering if you could comment/discuss the implications that ownership, and or the Front Office has on a player's success? For example, if JaMarcus went to a franchise that was more stable when he was drafted, would that have made a difference on his career path? Are there "better" franchises to be drafted by than others simply based on their front offices? For example, the cream of the AFC are the Patriots, Colts, Steelers and Bolts. All teams with an experienced, and stable, front office and owner(s). And yet teams without those qualities, i.e. Buffalo, Jax, Oakland, seem to always be at the bottom of the division. If JaMarcus had been drafted by Indy (in a world with no Peyton) would he still have bombed out? And what does this say for players that were drafted this year and going forward? Anything at all?

Thanks for your time.

Dave.

When doing a deep roster draft like with your Hot Route, what are some strategies that you like to do and what do you use to evaluate picks/trade offers that are deeper in the rounds (say Round 25+)?

good evening guys I have two questions...

1) In a 12 team PPR dynasty League I give up Sidney Rice for the 2011 round 1 and 2 picks. Good deal or Bad deal?

2) Another question I have is how do you guys feel about Thomas Jones this year?

thanks guys

Alright, I think this may be the third time I've come to you guys on this buy I'm losing my mind over here. Upcoming draft on June 4th. Nonppr start 1qb,2rb,2wr,1te,1k,1def

standard yardage league. 1pt every 20 yards, 3pt bonus at 100 yards rush/rec

1pt every 50 yards, 3pt bonus at 300 passing

current roster:

rivers, Vince young

frank gore, Donald brown, mcgahee, slaton

fitzgerald, mark Clayton, heywardbay

witten

ok.. I have the 1.01 & 1.04 in our upcoming draft. I will be able to keep both picks in our 10 man dynasty league.

Somehow miles Austin was not kept..

So I need to figure out what to do with my picks, this is where you two geniuses come in

would you:

a. Draft Matthews or other rookie back at 1.01 then snag Austin at 1.04. (pick 1.02 would be dez)

or

b. Draft Dez at 1.01 and take best avail RB at 1.04, which would either be spiller or best

I can't figure out which way to go, please help a desperate owner in south Florida!

Hey guys,

I am in a 10 team dynasty with 60 man full idp rosters about to do our opening draft. I have the third overall pick and I want to trade back and collect more picks.

Do you think this is a good idea?

If you think it is a good idea what do you think I should look for?

I have heard you guys feel that Michael Crabtree has a bright future ahead of him, but how does he overcome what seems to be a run first offense with and underwhelming QB? I worry he might have a future similar to a Lee Evans, a very talented player who might always struggle in FF because of the QB play. What do you guys think?

If healthy, and with the weak competition ahead of him, I feel this might be Leon Washingtons year to be a solid RB2 in ppr. Do you guys feel this is possible?

Thanks

Is it a good plan to trade out of the first this season to stockpile 2011 picks? I'm considering doing just that based on the last audible. I'm thinking (6th) overall for a season for his (20th) and his first next season. I'm in a championship or bust mode right now. Is this a solid plan? Is the value about right on that?

Can you discuss some dynasty keeper QBs? Some buy low backups who may get a shot this year ala Matt Moore and Chad Henne circa 2009?

When does Donald Driver regress and who is the WR to own when he does? Aaron Rodgers has 5-7 (if not more) great years left in him. Driver does not. Eventually someone has to take that role, right?

Dynasty PPR League 16 teams

Greg Jennings

Golden Tate

Steve Breaston

Jeremy Maclin

Jason Avant

Julian Edelman

Mark Clayton

Lance Moore

Chaz Schilens

Could you please rank these guys? I need RB help but only offers im getting are for Edelman. I know people are saying Edelman could start off season with a bang, so i don't really want to move him, but i really need help in the RB position. Out of these guys who should i try to trade?

Much appreciation,

BREHH
