Two Hours of Live Audible Tonight 9/17 10 pm Eastern (1 Viewer)

How do you guys see Steven Jackson doing going forward? I know it's only been one game but all the defenses in the division seem to be improved. Can SJ and the Rams get on track enough for him to be the PPR monster he should be.

Chris Wells only saw the field in the 2nd half Sunday but his stat line was not terrible for the little work he got. Is that what we should expect for the rest of the year or will he possibly earn more of a role there.

Great Daniel Jeremiah podcast, the Audible is one of the best things FBGs has going nowadays.

Hey guys great stuff as always

My two quarterbacks in a 15 team league (6 pt passing td's) are

Carson Palmer and David Garrard. Do you think I can get by with this pair all year or do I really need to try and upgrade in some way?

Also thoughts on the Pierre Thomas, Mike Bell, Reggie Bush conundrum going on in the Saints backfield.

Thanks and keep up the quality entertainment.

Hey guys, love the show.

Add another vote for talk about the NO RB situation. I drafted Mike Bell as my last pick and I'm thinking I've got the SOD.

Also, regarding the AP-Chester Taylor handcuff...is this the week to play both of them? Taylor didn't look that great last week, but didn't get as many touches as he'll likely get against the Lions. My other RBs in a 1/2-PPR league are Bush, Bell, and Sproles.

Finally, I've got two roster spots taken up with injured WR...Chaz Schilens and now Anthony Gonzalez. Looks like Schilens should be back soon, but Gonzalez is a mystery. Someone just dropped Davone Bess and I'm tempted to pick him up and drop one of these injured guys.

Thanks for the great work you guys do!

How much longer until you cut bait on Troy Williamson? One week? Two? Already there? Ditto for Matt Jones.

Follow up: How the heck do you ever decide who to start at flex between Todd Heap and Mark Clayton? Will anyone ever be able to guess which one will catch 5/50/1 and which will catch 4/40/0?

Jerricho Cotchery

Because of a rookie QB many were down on Cotch but on 2 PPR dynasty teams I grabbed him as my main #2 WR. I have studs and depth everywhere on both rosters, do you feel Cotchery can hold down a #2 WR spot for now and the next few years?

I referenced recent rookie history of Ryan-White and Flacco-Mason in hopes that Sanchez will lock in on Cotchery.

Week 2 PPR WR #3

Need 1

Gage

Driver

Hester

I'd first like to give a shout out to the subscriber's portion of Football Guys. If you haven't registered definitely do, it's worth it. If you're in an IDP league the week-to-week rankings alone really help you play off the waiver wire and get solid production each week. Thanks guys.

Three sit/start questions:

1) Pick one for a flex play: Moreno, Donald Brown, Lendale White or Bradshaw

2) Pick one for a flex play: Pierre Thomas, Beanie Wells or Nate Burleson

3) Trent Edwards, a sneaky "swing for the fences" play w/ Evans & TO against Tampa who gave up some deep ball plays to Dallas, or am I completely off the deep end? My other QB is Carson Palmer. Schaub, Flacco, or Eli are available on the waiver wire.

Thanks Guys,

Coloradan Stuck in Texas

Ronnie Brown's Fantasy Future

It seems Waldman is off RB bandwagon. Do you believe he can regain Top 15 status? Who has more value Cedric Benson or Ronnie Brown?

Okay, everybody tends to overreact after week 1. Who are some players you recommend overlooking a poor week 1 performance?

Also, the other side of the question: Who are some players we should be reacting to what we saw in week 1?

Hi Guys:

LOVE the really big show -- thank you for all you do.

Who would you start this weekend out of these QBs:

Hasselbeck, Matt @ SF

Hill, Shaun vs. SEA

Romo, Tony vs. NYG

Schaub, Matt @ TEN

In your opinions, is SD WR Chris Chambers part of a #2 WRBC? I've been holding out hopes for Malcom Floyd, but Legedu Naanee had a nice game this past Monday Night -- can he stick? OAK WR Louis Murphy performed well IMO, too -- how about him?

Would you please elaborate a little on this WRBC phenomenon/trend? Man, just as I was adjusting to the 3-headed RBBC...

If necessary, would you please re-calibrate the short term values of IND WRs Pierre Garcon and Austin Collie?

Thanks again,

The Riv

Cecil & the Seamonster,

Does RB Justin Fargas have any chance at sneaking in this Raider backfield, and does it render RB Michael Bush too risky of a play going forward?

RB's- With my first three picks I took Steven Jackson, Brandon Jacobs and Ronnie Brown. How do you see these three guys moving forward?

1) Can STL turn it around and give the ball to him more, or will the ugly games take the ball out of his hands?

2) Brandon Jacobs shared carries and Bradshaw showed him up, will he be their guy or will the 50/50 keep up or eventually become less carries for Jacobs?

WR's- With the above RB's drafted I had to take Ochocinco and Anthony Gonzalez with the next two picks.

1) Is Ochocinco reliable as my one and only receiver? (Starting 3 RB's and 1 WR)

2) Should I drop Anthony Gonzalez in this 12 team redraft league and pick up a different WR like Laurent Robinson or similar?

Hey guys I have a quick question

In all the preseason talk Eddie Royal and Greg Olsen were the smart picks this year, and in week one the both crapped the bed.

I have to start either Eddie Royal or Ronnie Brown as my Flex who is the best start in week 2?

And Zach Miller is on the Waiver Wire is he worth a pick up over Olsen?

Thanks

Love the show guys, but when will Phish be the open music? Don't you think its about time, Cecil?

My question: is the Tampa secondary really that bad, or will they bounce back? This is a short way of asking if Trent Edwards is a good play this week, over Garrard, Campbell, or Favre. You can guess that I am a McNabb owner.

Also: when, if ever, is the time to make the shark waiver move on a certain rock and roll clown? I wish I had picked up Leftwich when he was mysteriously unsigned, is this a similar case?

Keep up the great work

The Colts will sign Hank Baskett today. I think he has landed into the perfect storm.

Hot wife aside, what is your view of Baskett going forward ?

I can see him beating out both Garcon and Collie as the legit #3 WR once he gets the playbook down.

thanks for the time.

What's up guys? Your Thursday night podcast has me thinking back to the days of Seinfeld, just can't miss a Thursday night.

Is Todd Heap Back? If he stays healthy do you think he will get back in the top 5 this year? Looks like a lot of people are sleeping on this guy.

Talk to us about Royal. He is on many rosters as a #2WR. After a week 1 two catch fiasco what can we expect going forward? Is it time to think about making moves to upgrade at WR2 or will Royal rebound to become a solid play? Thanks gentlemen!Jeff

Hey guys, great stuff as always. I have some serious dilemmas already.. not good heading into Week 2!

non-PPR, 6 pt passing TDs, return yardage counts

Matt Schaub @ TEN or Trent Edwards vs TB?

Pick 2: Ray Rice @ SD, Kevin Faulk @ NYJ, Darren McFadden @ KC, Mike Bell @ PHI

Percy Harvin @ DET or Eddie Royal vs CLE?

Thanks guys! Keep on Tweeting!

Hi Guys Awesome Show.

i need WR off waivers. I am in a 12 team .5 ppr league, 16 roster spots. Starters: 1QB, 2RB 2 WR 1 RB/WR/TE Flex 1TE 1D 1PK

My WR starters are R White and S. Holmes. B. Berrian, C Chambers.

Available on waivers (blind bidding $100.00 Cap) are: M. Muhammad, S Rice, I Bruce, , R Meacham, M Bradley, M Jenkins G. Camarillo, T Williamson, B. Johnson, J Urban L Murphy A Collie and others. Thinking to avoid Muhammad because of limited upside. Thinking Bruce, Urban or Murphy. Want an WR that may turn into a WR3 or 4. What do you guys think?

Why are you so down on Colston this week - injury concern? Lack of targets? Brees' tendency to spread the ball around? There is a huge discrepancy between your ranking for Colston for the week and Dodds, would love to hear more.

Great stuff, keep up the good work.

First, praise is due. You confirmed my thought of D.Ward over D.Brown last week, which went well. On that note, I'd like to tap your expertise again if you would.....

Need one below for RB2 - 1ppr, 1 pt per 10 yds, 6 pt Tds, 3 pts @ 100 yds rush or rec

R.Bush @ Phil

M.Bush @ KC

C.Taylor @ Det

Am I overthinking the potential matchup benefits for Taylor and MBush vs RBush and his tough matchup?

Thanks in advance guys.

Deep Dynasty PPR Flex, I need a RB/WR/TE Flex:

Please rank 'em in order:

Gage v Houston

Sproles v Baltimore

M. Bell v Philly

I'd be interested to hear if injuries move anyone up or down in your opinion. Thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!

Hey guys - enjoying the show. Please share your thoughts on Felix Jones and Peyton Hillis. I expected more from Jones than what he showed in week 1, even in a complementary role. How do you rate his value going forward? Also, is Hillis really worth stashing in a redraft this year? He shouldered the load last year when they needed him, and looked good in preseason this year. He seemed like a quality late-round pick, especially given Knowshon's shaky preseason. With Moreno banged up already, will Hillis have a chance to shine again?

Hi guys, great show. Is LT a sell low candidate or should we wait and see. I am looking at giving LT and Eddie Royal for Andre Johnson and Pierre Thomas. I have Grant, Kevin Smith , Bell and L. Washington at Rb. this is a non-ppr no, return yards, redraft

thanks guys

breaking away from my usual posts about " deep " dynasty sleepers ... I have a more main-stream question / gut feeling

Reggie Bush -- healthy ? not healthy ? seems to be some who think he looked ok .. some said he looked UNLIKE BUSH of old

in a DYNASTY league / PPR type .. stick with him this year and long term ... or lets say move him for someone like M.Barber

thanx for the opinion

Buckhalter looks great and will stay ahead of Hillis im afraid, wouldnt carry him in redraft.Felix already banged up, if he doesnt shine against NYG, time to really lower expectations.

youre also selling low on royal, and in non-PPR andre isnt worth quite as much. I would probably still lean towards pulling the trigger, because I like your depth at RB
