Two Lineup Questions for Championship Game (1 Viewer)

.5 PPR, 2RB, 2WR, TE, Flex, K, DEF

Roster:

QBs - Ryan, Dalton (Foles or Flacco)

RBs - Ingram, McCoy, Kamara, Alex Collins, CJ Anderson, Rex Burkhead, Ameer Abdullah

WRs - DHop, Keenan Allen, Dez, Amari, DJax, Sammy, Perriman

TEs - Gronk, Hunter Henry

(Dynasty league and the rebuild took a while.)

Two questions:

1.  Who to start at QB?  I do not think Ryan is a viable option, so I was gonna add Nick Foles, but then I read that if the Vikes lose, Philly may be sitting him for a quarter or two.  Adding Flacco instead has the added bonus that he is a starting NFL QB next year as well.  I have no clue which direction to go on this one so could use some insight from the masses.

2.  This second question is far less important.  Does Alex Collins break into the lineup? Logic says go with Ingram, McCoy, DHop, Keenan, and Kamara (flex).  But McCoy is on the road against NE, and his numbers on the road have not been near as great and Collins faces Indy at home.  Then again, Harbaugh pulled Collins last week as soon as they got a big lead.  This site has Collins ranked higher than both McCoy and Kamara for this week.  Guru has Collins a few slots lower than the rest.  I am gonna play it safe and start McCoy/Ingram/Kamara I think, but thought I would throw this question out there to see if there is something I am missing..

Collins over Kamara and McCoy surprises me. Indy has an OK run defense and a terrible pass defense. I don’t know how you sit Kamara, but it did seem like he was less involved vs the Jets. I don’t know if they were just saving him for this game or the concussion is lingering.

Honestly, out of those QBs I'd go Ryan. I think he has a bounce back game against the Saints this week, and don't like any of the other options more than him.

Collins sits the bench, Inram/McCoy/Kamara/Hopkins/Allen all get the start over him for me

Any basis for the Ryan bounce back or just a gut feeling?  Ryan has not exceeded 225 yards passing in five of the last six weeks... the lone exception being at home against the woeful Bucs pass D.  Meanwhile the Saints gave up only 167, 212, & 170 passing yards their last three games, with the two lower numbers being at home on the dome.  You could argue that he will do better since he just saw the Saints 2 weeks ago, but when he faced the Bucs a second time his yards dropped from 317 to 212.  In his last four games, he has a total of 3 TDs... and also 3 INTs.  He scares the heck out of me in a championship lineup.  Am I missing something?

I see Foles as being the highest floor of the bunch. Flacco never really breaks into the high numbers, and Ryan is going to face a Saints defense at home that saw him a few weeks ago (and held him to under 10 points). My vote is the saints defense is keyed in on the Falcons offense much like the Bucs were.

If you can wait until after saturdays game to add Foles I would wait. If you cant wait to add Foles I would go Flacco.

Start your studs. Collins doesnt make it into your lineup.

I'd lean Foles, Rogers is on IR so the Vikings are probably going to win, forcing the Eagles to play their starters longer than if they had home field tied up.

Full disclosure - I dropped Ryan for Foles, mostly because I didn't want to have to face him in the finals, but I'll probably play Alex Smith or Rivers over him.

Abdullah! Flacco, Perriman, HHenry. They'll never expect it!!!

You're getting good advice here.

Projections rank Ryan higher in my league and my thought is why not have your QB1 in there but you've analyzed the scoring well. If you can live with the reasonings great. The thing is no one knows.   Foles could go off.  I don't think anyone expect Dalton to be the big slinger.  To start him...similar to your response to Ryan...gut feeling or data backing it up?  What data puts Flacco, Dalton or Foles ahead of Ryan?

Alex Collins is doing some strong work lately .   You have an embarrassment of riches. which is what you want. don't over think it though.  Other players ranked higher.

If you choose only 1 NO RB...what if you choose Ingram and Kamara goes off etc.

Nice job rebuildling.   Who are the key players to keeping the party going next year and  acquiring draft picks.

Good luck
