Disclaimor - I'm in a start-2 QB league.

Thigpen has had back-to-back productive games. He faces the league's worst pass defense this week in a game which should see the Chiefs playing from behind and having to throw a lot. He isn't likely to catch another TD pass anytime soon but on paper this is an outstanding matchup. Bowe and Gonzalez are top-flight receivers and Mark Bradley's coming on a bit. I can't say I entirely trust him but I'm sick of Roethlisberger (assuming he even plays) so I'll take a chance on Thigpen instead.

Anybody else rolling the dice on him and hoping he can make it a trifecta of productive fantasy games?

You are luckier than I that your league is a 2 QB league. I will have Thigpen going over S. Hill and Culpepper in one league, with Brady and Schaub sidelined.

I'm in a 1 QB league and Brett Favre has been my starter since week 1 and aside from his 6 TD outing he hasn't given me much production as of late. Thigpen is on my waiver wire, I picked up Brady Quinn to see how he does this week but I am considering other QB options at this point, never thought i'd say this but Thigpen has been one of my genius ideas.

I'm in a similar situation having bounced from QB to QB since Brady went down. Going with Thigpen over Hill and Frerotte this week.

Not too shabby today. Pretty sweet schedule the rest of the way too:

Week 11: at New Orleans

Week 12: vs. Buffalo

Week 13: at Oakland

Week 14: at Denver

Week 15: vs. San Diego

Week 16: vs. Miami

Week 17: at Cincinnati

The Raiders' game is the only one I'd classify as a difficult matchup. Every other one looks pretty darn good.

Grabbed Thigpen off waivers when Schaub went down passing up all the other flavors of the month i.e. Rosenfels, Flacco for the same reason. I think he's going to put up very nice numbers down the stretch.

Two huge things working for Thigpen now as opposed to earlier in the year are Mark Bradley, who looks like a legitimate WR2 and a third option behind the great duo of Bowe and Gonzo, and the offensive line, which is now protecting a LOT better. Thigpen wasn't sacked once today (stupid OOB garbage doesn't count), and in general he sat back there with a lot of time and looked poised, making nice throws all over the park. Branden Albert is getting better each week and is starting to look like the stud LT some thought he COULD be.

I keep hearing everyone on TV say that he can't be a sustained starter in this league and is a no. 3 at best. At what do we start wondering if this guy can really go.

I trust my own eyes. They keep throwing the ball, he has a good arm, and he keeps producing.

IMO if Herm remains HC then KC does not stay in this offense. We will see next week when LJ is back if the Chiefs go back to the power running game.

He has looked good to me as well. Strong arm with a pretty good release. What is not to like that Thigpen has shown in the last few weeks?
