Word is that when Tynes is back to 100% it will be his job again and most likely Carney will be cut.
In one Dynasty league I've got both on my roster just to be sure...most likely it won't be announced who's playing from here on out until Sunday morning so want to be prepared.
In another Dynasty league I picked up Tynes this past week as a preemptive strike assuming this week or next is when he is inserted.
Carney will rejoin his old team the Saints. Bank it
I know it's not
status quo to hold 2 Kickers, but this could be even more reason to roster both Carney and Tynes. Having two kickers on two of the most high-powered offenses in the NFL isn't a bad thing. At worst case scenario it guarantees you the starting Giants kicker who has been putting up the the top weekly kicker points so far this season.
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
I keep using that word? You mean, this one time....gee sorry.Yes, status quo means "to keep things as is". As in, most FF rosters will only have 1 kicker, and in most cases would be normal to just keep things as is. In this case it may be wise to go against what is usually done.
I was just quoting a line from Princess Bride, so I realize you didn't use the word more than once, I was just kidding you about the way you used the word. But, I still don't think that word really fits the way you used it. I notice in your explanation that you use the word "normal", as in, "...normal to just keep things as is." You could substitute "normal" for "status quo" in your original sentence, but I don't think you can substitute "...to keeps things as is..", at least not if you want to have it make any sense.Anyway, it wasn't my intention to be the grammar police or whatever, I just thought it might be a good time to use that quotation. I guess not.
