Full PPR league where you have to start QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, 1 Flex, TE, K, Def.

My team, which is going to finish the regular season in first place:

QB:  Luck, Newton

RB: DJ, Lamar Miller, Forte, Riddick, Derrick Henry

WR:  Hilton, Diggs, Allen Robinson, Pryor, Jeffery

TE:  Eifert

My question:

Tyreek Hill is on the waiver wire, and plays against Atlanta this week, followed by Oak - 14, TN - 15, and Denver - 16.  I don't love my receivers, and Hill has been -- in a word -- terrific since Maclin went down.  While I can use one of my backs in the flex spot, they've been uneven as well, and are better to play matchups with.

So, should I drop Derrick Henry (whom I've been holding on the chance that Demarco goes down) or Alshon Jeffery for Hill?  Or stay pat?  My inclination is to drop Henry, as I doubt anyone will pick him up while the Titans are on their bye, and I'm not going to start him unless Demarco goes down for the count.

Thoughts?

I agree, grab him and cut Jeff (I read a lot about Henry getting a lot more playing time recently, but we'll see how that goes I guess, if anything that might be bad as "more" time still isn't enough and it might keep Murray healthy to rest up a tad more... so either way may has well grab him)

Man, I seem to be overvaluing Jeffery.  Perhaps worth a separate thread, but I'll ask here:  what're folks thoughts on his prospects?  My take is that you'd be hard pressed to start him in week 15, when he returns, because it'd be nice to see how he meshes with the Bears' QB (whoever that might be) but that there are so few targets in Chicago that he could be a worthwhile start.  Probably not over my other 4 WRs, though, especially without Cutler.

As for Henry, I'm a huge Titans fan, so totally get his upside.  If Demarco goes down, I think Henry is a top 5-7 back, easily, and probably wins me the league.  So maybe that gamble is worth dropping Jeffery. . .

Other thoughts or dissent?

This is a redraft.  As a heads up, Alshon has GB in 15 and then Washington in 16.  Don't love the latter, and I'm not sure I'd be ballsy enough to start him in week 15 with Matt Barkeley. . .

Exactly. Henry has a chance (Although it revolves around an injury) as a starter, there is almost no way you're starting Jeffery this year again. (unless he comes back early and rips it up in week 14 - but I don't see that happening) even back, the Bears are a mess.

Jeffery isn't back until week 15, at earliest -- he's suspended until then.  But my WRs are weak enough that I could imagine starting Jeffery in wk16, if I get there.

Do you have playoffs or play straight through?  If you have playoffs then Jeffrey is an easy drop because you might not even make it to the point of being able to play him.  If it's a straight through then I still think he is ok to drop because every week is important and he has no value right now.  So I guess, either way I would drop Jeffrey.
