I am running an Ultimate DM league. What does this mean? It means there will be one fee for your entry into 4 leagues. You will have to participate in all 4 drafts and the scores you earn in weeks 1-16 for all 4 DMs will be added together and highest scoring team will win 1st place, 2nd place etc. This is based on total pts not a H2H matchup (full bylaws will be on the site) but I am gearing interest right now and still working on the complete bylaws.
The focus here is 2 things. One we can draft early once in May June July and August. Some players might be better at early drafts vs later ones and by adding all scores together we get a true draftmaster. The other focus is the competitive part a 4 month draft combo can provide in our quest to be branded the Draftmaster.
Payouts would be 100% because MFL does not charge for total pt DMs. Here are the payouts....
12 teams at $125.00 (one time entry fee for all 4 dm drafts)
Payouts are as follows: 12 x $125 = $1500.00 - MFL fees ($0) Total pt DMs are free on MFL
1st place $750.00
2nd $300.00
3rd $200.00
Each winner of a DM $50 ($50 x 4 = $200) One for May, June, July, Aug
$50 bonus to highest scoring single team in week 17 in any one of the 4 DMs.
If you are interested or are you sure you want one of the 12 spots please reply as soon as possible as I am taking a good look at the first 11 to respond ( I am already in!) I will be looking for guys I know are committed drafters so these drafts do not linger on and are finished within 3-7 days. 12 hr timer, but you all already know how I feel about that! LOL.
May 22 or 23 is my goal. So snail mail pymts can arrive in time. Also Memorial day is in this month also.
June July and Aug draft dates TBD and we will work together to choose those draft dates.
If you already play in a league with me please remind me of that as that can matter in me knowing your drafting availability. If you dont have a smart phone or at least the ability to be around and pick within a reasonable amount of time I do not think this draft is for you because we have 4 of them to do and I want this to be as painless as possible. I know you all understand, nobody like a draft that takes weeks to complete.
