hey Guys...moving the off-season thread to a season thread...Lots going on and we are a few weeks back on discussions! (I know there have been plenty of other threads discussing the Pats)Rodney is Activated - Marcellus Rivers is released again...it is like a revolving door for him in NE. (thinking we should have kept Garrett Mills, and let Dave Thomas go)
This year so far:SpyGateRBBC in NE?Emergence of Randy Moss and Wes WelkerThe Patriots have activated safety Rodney Harrison from the exempt/commissioner's list. The Patriots had an exemption until Monday for Harrison, but in activating him today, it clears the way for him to return to action Sunday against the Browns. To make room for Harrison on the 53-man roster, the team released tight end Marcellus Rivers, who was signed to a two-year deal Wednesday. It is possible that Rivers could return to the team this week, and that his release was a result of not being part of Sunday's game-plan. Without Rivers, the Patriots will enter the game with just two pure tight ends -- Kyle Brady and Benjamin Watson.
