While watching the NE-Buff MNF game and also following the play by play on NFL.com, I noticed that the Pats were taking LT Light and moving him to the TE spot on the right side and reporting as eligible. Earlier they did this on 4th and 1 but moved RT Kazur(sp?) to the left side. I remember the Ravens doing this at times last season as well. Both teams had some degree of success with this package. With the league using traditional FBs less and less these days is this the trend for the power running game in the NFL. Any thoughts?

it's been creeping up more and more, it's just not as exciting as the wildcat so it doesn't get the same publicity.

If it's only used as a short yardage offense I don't much care for it. I'd like to see it's impact on more than just that.

It was not used only in short yardage situations, 1st and 10, 2nd and 3, short yardage, they used it to set up play action to Randy. Only mentioned the 4th and 1 on the 1st drive to illustrate they did it on left and right side of the line.
