UNCONFIRMED: Boo Williams to Seattle? (1 Viewer)

I can't find this anywhere, not even in the local Seattle paper, but my girlfriend's parents sat behind a "football player" on a flight from Vancouver to Seattle. The flight attendant came over, was making small talk, and then asked him who he was (must have been blinging it or something), and he said that he was Boo Williams--a tight end who just got traded from New Orleans to Seattle. Personally, I thought that the guy was a free agent, but maybe he was working out for some CFL teams and the Seahawks came calling since Stevens and Mili are down. He could have said that he used to play for the Saints and now he just got signed by the Seahawks, they weren't sure. The one thing that they were sure of was that he said his name was Boo Williams and he was flying to Seattle because he's now a Seahawk.

Thanks for the welcome. To be honest, I've been on here for the last few years but I never had anything remotely newsworthy to post, so I signed up to post on the forums today. I'd have no reason to yank any chains, but if I did, I'd pick something a lot better than this.

HMM, Jeremy Stevens still out for approx. 4 weeks, Mili has injured his knee, could be possible, Seattle needs a tight end, I don't find this far fetched at all, good heads up! Once again Football Guys is on top.

Or maybe the parents just misunderstood the conversation hearing the words trade and New Orleans at some point.Anyways, seems logical. Good info.

It is nice to read a thread like this without that garbage.

Anyway, cool story. Even cooler if it ends up happening. Too bad it doesn't have much FF impact, though. You'd have to be a pretty outstanding TE to contribute in that situation in Seattle. I just don't see a guy like Boo doing much of anything.

This is because there's no real fantasy impact to the story. Or maybe it's also because who would imagine anyone thinking I'm going to tell strangers on a plane that I'm "Boo".
