I do this on another forum. Figured, Id get more feedback as these forums seem more knowledgable.

Let me start with a few on my list of buy low/sell high:

Buy low: Eddie Royal, No way his value gets any lower than it is. Only had 3 targets last week. Although he had 9 the week before. Expect a roller coaster like season. But, I have optimistic season projections the rest of the way. Projections:55 rec 650 yds 4 TD

Steve Smith: Another guy whose value is quite low. If Delhomme figures it out or not and he was not the bad the other night, Steve will come along. No need to worry here like you should Royal. Projection:70 rec 800 yds 7 TD

Sell High: McGahee- This streak cant last the whole season can it. At times, he has looked better than Rice. But when Rice figures it out, Mcgahee will be limited to goal line carries. Hes more of a rb 3 to me much like Mr. Whale in TEN

Dallas Clark- Another guy who has been on fiah!!! Like scalding hot, like the hot chocolate you want to suck right up on a chilly day and burn your tongue right off. If you can land a top 15-20 WR for him, you have to pounce on that immediately. Projections:50 600 yds 5 TD

Onto the picks:

Celek- He has been on the list the previous 2 weeks and has not disappointed but if he posts another 100 yd gm he will not be underrated anymore. Hell, he just got his mancrush thread on RW created Sunday night. Once that goes over 3 pages, he will be officially overrated much like Jessica Simpson these days. Ya, shes hot but the other Jessica is better in Biel. Very under the radar I must say......

Chad Henne- I will rec a Fin player of mine. This guy has a cannon and you will see that. It may take time to develop chemistry with his WR's as was evident last week with Ginn. Some overthrown balls but a few went right through Ginn's hands. Id upgrade Fasano and Bess with Henne at QB. Guy has a rocket. You will see this when they beat the Bills this week for their 1st win. Pennington's injury may cost him a chance to be with the Fins next yr as long as Henne runs with the job. Way better option than Johnson in TB. Projection: 240 pass yds 1 TD

Mike Wallace- Who was last weeks target leader for PITT? Yep, this guy. Slowly getting better and better. Roeth is looking his way and Wallace is answering the call. Looks like PITT's 3 WR as Tomlin is getting fed up with Limas Sweed. That guy oozes of potential but is just a bonehead. Sweed is on his way to getting benched due to all the dropped passes in favor of the great Shaun McDonald. Projections:4 rec 55 yds

Chris Henry- Faces the easy CLE this week who is just atrocious. He has been quite disappointing this year after his amazing preseason. He should get a score too. Projections: 5 rec 60 yds 1 TD

Donald Brown- I dont have any stats on this one but I feel a good game from him vs the Hawks. SEA has the 8th worst rush D allowing 140 rush yds per gm. To date, Brown has looked like the better back but Addai still has the edge in the passing gm. Be patient with Brown, Im feeling a breakout here very shortly. Had very nice gm vs ARI. Should develop into a RB 2 by the end of the season. He just might be your rookie rush leader at the end of the season. Projection: 80 rush yds

Kevin Walter- Facing OAK and you know what this means. Andre will blanketed all gm meaning Schaub will have to look more towards Walter and Owen Daniels. Upgrade both these guys on your lists this week. Projection: 6 rec 60 yds

Keenan Burton- He is a journeyman but he will be STL's 2nd WR. Nothing special here but he could become a WR3-4 by the end of the yr. You could do worse. STL will be playing from behind and Boller actually looked capable at QB vs GB. Projection: 5 rec 55 yds

Mo Morris- If Kevin Smith cant go this week, I like this guy in PPR leagues. He is much like a Jerome Harrison. Dont expect much more than 40-50 rush yds but he is a very good pass catcher. Projections: 4 rec 40 yds and 40 rush yds

Dallas Clark is a stud....Manning has two great targets and Clark is one of them. Worth way more than a top 15-20 WR.

pre-baby, yes. not sure bout that nemoreregarding clark, i feel he finishes in the top 5-7 guaranteed. but if u can land a top 15 wr like steve smith. who will come on like gangbusters, you have to pull the trigger in ppr's
Clark can be an 80, 1000, 10 guy. At TE that is huge. Clark will be a top 3 TE.
agree to disagree. i dont think that. other than his monster gm vs mia his 2nd best gm was this past week vs ari. and that was just good nothing great. tms will have to look into doublin him

It is hard to double him when you have R. Wayne out there, and Peyon Manning at QB. The lack of running game bumps up Wayne and Clark.

In my PPR league Clark had 30pts week 2 and 19 week 3. You say "other than his moster game". Through 3 weeks he has had 2 great games. 19pts out of a TE is more than just good. This guy is the real deal. He and Witten are the top TE's right now in fantasy, in my opinion. They will outscore many wr's.

2 great games? I dont think 6 rec and 80 yds with a score is great. If Gates puts up a game like that you would call that good and the norm. Unless, we have different definitions of the word great. Again, not everyone plays PPR leagues. And to the guy who posted 80 rec and 1,000 yds. That would be a career yr for Clark. I dont see it. Last season, was his best yr at 78 rec and around 850 yds. I would expect similar #'s this season

What is it that Rice needs to "figure out"?
run between the tackles. i havent seen too many of his gms. but he needs to let holes open the gms i have seen. he could be a ppr monster but as of now mcgahee is looking like the better overall back. it doesnt help rice that this is his first real season seeing significant snaps. by midseason, if this guys is still posting stinkers id look elsewhere. i still have hope but you just need patience.

I bought into the Henry hype this year but so far he has had 8 targets in 3 games. 8 targets in one game is what any decent WR sees.Sorry but I'm not going to be starting that sort of inactivity anytime soon. If he busts out for 5-60-1, great, but the odds of another 1-18-0 are way too large to risk it.

Thigpen is about to take Henne's job
Not likely. Henne has been being groomed to be the future in Miami and this is a perfect opportunity to get him out there without any QB controversy with Pennington.I'd say that in all likelyhood we'll see Henne as the #1 and Pat White as the #2 for the occasional Wildcat plays with Thigpen being the #3 emergency QB while he learns the playbook. If Henne gets injured though, Thigpen will definitely leapfrog Pat White to become the starter at that point as White is just too raw.Sorry about the thread derail. Carry on.

not necessarily. i read on sportsline thigpen is just as fast as pat white but has a better arm. so pat white is bumped to 3rd on the depth chart

When you say better arm, are you talking about both arm strength and the ability to finesse and throw a touch pass when necessary?Pat White wins the arm strength battle, and it's not even close. One of the knocks on Thigpen has been that he doesn't inspire much fear in the opposing secondary for his deep ball threat.Overall though I would agree with you that Thigpen has the ability to make a higher number of throws. From everything I've seen thus far, Pat White seems to have only one throwing speed and it's locked on the turbo setting. He has no finesse or touch when it's needed.

by arm, im talkin accuracy. white needs work there. thigpen got the job done in kc and made that team competitive. nice pick up overall

Celek won't score a single pt this week, put him on the bench!Thigpen is about to take Henne's job
:lmao: Bad attempt at humor I hope. Celek is on a bye week and Thigpen won't take Henne's job. He wasn't even the best QB in KC. The trade was strictly for depth.

let me add coffee to this list. underrated for now but that will change after this week. faces stl the 6th worst rush d which gives up 148 yds. projections: 110 rush yds and 1 td

If you're really in a pinch with byes/injuries Mewelde Moore could be a nice play with Willie Parker suffering from turf toe and Rashard Mendenhall playing poorly.

if bowe is out, people do not like bradley? seems like the chiefs will have to pass against the giants and last week showed the chiefs would try to get bradley involved in a number of ways.

In my league he is averaging 20.7pts a game. The next best is Celek averaging 18.7. That game last week he got 19pts and you want to throw it out as just average? It is average if you are the 2nd best team in the league but I would be very happy at that spot too. Based on these 3 games he is projected to get 96/1514/10. If he continues on the current pace he will outscore the 3rd TE by 112 points. I don't think you can really project that way but that wasn't your argument. You didn't think what he has done so far is anything special. You want to take out his big game. Okay, if we do that he is projected to be 88/808/8. Those results would have him finishing 2nd in my league last year. I would also argue that his worst game was week 1 when A-gonz was still there.

few more to add to the list:

jerome harrison, with lewis lookin like a no go. expect stats similar to last gm. nice flex play.

moreno- i like his chances. hes started to heat up as of late. 90 rush yds

Cassel couldn't pass gas last week, and now you want to start a benchwarmer at WR??

some players who may outdo their rankings:

Mark Clayton

Pierre Garcon - i think Clark has a very quiet game, and Garcon gets more looks this week to get in sync with Manning.

Chris Henry - i smell a semi-shootout vs CLE, and he usually kills the Browns.

Nate Burleson - solid 12-15 FP in PPR

Jermichael Finley - look at what VDavis did to this defense, and GB TEs normally do well vs. MIN.

not sure how burleson is under the radar. this guy should be owned in all leagues and wallace kept targetin him like crazy vs cho

Mr. Sims-Walker. Sure he is known in the FBG and knowledgeable FF circles, but there are plenty of people that don't know of him yet. They will soon.

Jermichael Finley - look at what VDavis did to this defense, and GB TEs normally do well vs. MIN.
That was with Favre. The TE has not been very involved since Rodgers took over. In two games against the Vikings last season Lee caught only four passes. On paper, this looks like an inviting matchup because Davis was a monster last week against the Vikings and it's possible Lee or Finley could pull a TD out of their a**. But the TE has vanished from the Packers' playbook since Rodgers became the starter so it's incredibly risky to start either Lee or Finley against any team in my opinion.

 Seems to me that the TE (usually Lee) has been staying in to block in support of GB's OL.

I smell a Cincy walkaway. Turnovers and ineptitude will lend Benson another 100 + TD day. Caldwell is the #3 WR in that offense now.ETA - Charlize Theron gets my vote.
