I do this on another forum. Figured, Id get more feedback as these forums seem more knowledgable.
Let me start with a few on my list of buy low/sell high:
Buy low: Eddie Royal, No way his value gets any lower than it is. Only had 3 targets last week. Although he had 9 the week before. Expect a roller coaster like season. But, I have optimistic season projections the rest of the way. Projections:55 rec 650 yds 4 TD
Steve Smith: Another guy whose value is quite low. If Delhomme figures it out or not and he was not the bad the other night, Steve will come along. No need to worry here like you should Royal. Projection:70 rec 800 yds 7 TD
Sell High: McGahee- This streak cant last the whole season can it. At times, he has looked better than Rice. But when Rice figures it out, Mcgahee will be limited to goal line carries. Hes more of a rb 3 to me much like Mr. Whale in TEN
Dallas Clark- Another guy who has been on fiah!!! Like scalding hot, like the hot chocolate you want to suck right up on a chilly day and burn your tongue right off. If you can land a top 15-20 WR for him, you have to pounce on that immediately. Projections:50 600 yds 5 TD
Onto the picks:
Celek- He has been on the list the previous 2 weeks and has not disappointed but if he posts another 100 yd gm he will not be underrated anymore. Hell, he just got his mancrush thread on RW created Sunday night. Once that goes over 3 pages, he will be officially overrated much like Jessica Simpson these days. Ya, shes hot but the other Jessica is better in Biel. Very under the radar I must say......
Chad Henne- I will rec a Fin player of mine. This guy has a cannon and you will see that. It may take time to develop chemistry with his WR's as was evident last week with Ginn. Some overthrown balls but a few went right through Ginn's hands. Id upgrade Fasano and Bess with Henne at QB. Guy has a rocket. You will see this when they beat the Bills this week for their 1st win. Pennington's injury may cost him a chance to be with the Fins next yr as long as Henne runs with the job. Way better option than Johnson in TB. Projection: 240 pass yds 1 TD
Mike Wallace- Who was last weeks target leader for PITT? Yep, this guy. Slowly getting better and better. Roeth is looking his way and Wallace is answering the call. Looks like PITT's 3 WR as Tomlin is getting fed up with Limas Sweed. That guy oozes of potential but is just a bonehead. Sweed is on his way to getting benched due to all the dropped passes in favor of the great Shaun McDonald. Projections:4 rec 55 yds
Chris Henry- Faces the easy CLE this week who is just atrocious. He has been quite disappointing this year after his amazing preseason. He should get a score too. Projections: 5 rec 60 yds 1 TD
Donald Brown- I dont have any stats on this one but I feel a good game from him vs the Hawks. SEA has the 8th worst rush D allowing 140 rush yds per gm. To date, Brown has looked like the better back but Addai still has the edge in the passing gm. Be patient with Brown, Im feeling a breakout here very shortly. Had very nice gm vs ARI. Should develop into a RB 2 by the end of the season. He just might be your rookie rush leader at the end of the season. Projection: 80 rush yds
Kevin Walter- Facing OAK and you know what this means. Andre will blanketed all gm meaning Schaub will have to look more towards Walter and Owen Daniels. Upgrade both these guys on your lists this week. Projection: 6 rec 60 yds
Keenan Burton- He is a journeyman but he will be STL's 2nd WR. Nothing special here but he could become a WR3-4 by the end of the yr. You could do worse. STL will be playing from behind and Boller actually looked capable at QB vs GB. Projection: 5 rec 55 yds
Mo Morris- If Kevin Smith cant go this week, I like this guy in PPR leagues. He is much like a Jerome Harrison. Dont expect much more than 40-50 rush yds but he is a very good pass catcher. Projections: 4 rec 40 yds and 40 rush yds
