Undrafted rookie free agent signings (1 Viewer)

Will

Drunk, not Stupid
Sorry, I tried to clean this up. Can't get the columns to line up.

These are the signings I've seen so far. Great Blue will have their list up soon I'm sure.

RBs that jumped out at me:

Andre Hall to Tampa Bay

showed flashes, backing up Cadilac does not help

Gerald Riggs to Miami

big back, not the best spot

DonTrell Moore to NY Jets

Highly productive back, undersized

Taurean Henderson and Wendell Mathis to Minnesota

2 undersized backs with potential. Henderson could be a third down back although they have Mwelde, Mathis is strong but small...

Chris Barclay to Cleveland

Slim runner with decent speed, will need to bulk up

Cory Ross to Baltimore

Small but strong, injuries slowed him down

De’Arrius Howard to KC

Big back with good speed, heart was questioned

Demetrius Summers to Dallas

This guy was a top prospect until character issues killed him. Kicked off the team by Spurrier in '04. Been out of football 1 year waiting to qualify for 2006 draft.

PJ Pope to Chicago

undersized and injury plagued

Ryan Gilbert was talking with the NY Jets

Good size but slow...

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Mathis isn't really undersized. He weighed in at 210 at the combine. He was light for the sprints and played at 215 most of last season. His bio was wrong. Said he was 185 and every site quoted it and believed. Just had to see him play to know he had size. I got in a funny debate with the guys that run draftdaddy about them calling him a 180 pounder. They never responded or corrected themselves after the weigh-in. :D Scott Wright didn't believe me, but at least he made the correction when Mathis' correct weight was reported. Dude dominated USC's defense running straight downhill. He's got nice size.

Anyway, we have three pages dedicated to the subject here.

John David Washington, a 5-10, 200-pound running back and son of actor Denzel Washington, was among 10 undrafted players signed by the Rams after playing for Division II Morehouse College last year.
