so you know yourself(A) and another guy)B) are trying to get the same player from a third team© with similar trades. You see that a player the other guy(B) is offering is on the injury report as ??, but it isnt listed on your leagues site yet. Is it unethical to send © a link to a newspaper artcile that shows hes injured??

I don't understand... why would you NOT tell him? what's with all the ethics questions lately?? maybe there should be a new ethics forum...

Nah. Sounds like fair play to me. Some may say it's unethical for the other owner to not tell the owner that the guy he's trying to trade is questionable for some reason, but it's that owner's fault for not doing his homework.

When it comes to ethics, if you are taking your morality to a fantasy message board then your soul has already convicted you.

Boy, this is tough. Revealing to your trading partner information about a player "guy B" probably knows is injured but is offering him up in a trade anyway? Sheesh, I don't know. This is a hard one.I say you should just stay quiet. It's none of your business what other people do in their negotiations.

Ethics has no place in fantasy football.

Spread disinformation, make up fake injuries and tell them to your opponents, make horrendously one sided trades if you can.

Come on now.

Mini-Hijack:

Team A has traded Peyton Manning to Team B for Donovan McNabb. This trade will process Sunday at 12:01 AM. At that point, Team A will have McNabb starting and Chad Pennington on the bench (both on Byes).

Team A (with no QB this week) faces Team C. Team C and I (Team D) are tied for first place. Should I inform Team A he's laying a goose egg at QB to my division rival?

videoguy505, if you feel like it.

What the heck is up with all these beyond clearly ethical questions???

If it is not cheating, it is all fair game. I don't do it anymore, but haven't you EVER spread disinformation on draft day to get a player to fall? Or told your buddy who was sitting next to you the truth about a player when he asks?

Jeezus, it's a game - play to win.
