Universal Studios (1 Viewer)

We are heading over to Universal Studios California for 4th of July weekend and plan on going to the park on the 4th. We have done Disney many times but this will be the first trip to Universal. I see the one day tickets would cost my family of 4 $332. However, the front of line ticket would cost us $716. A guy at my office did the front of the line tickets and said they didn't have to wait in any lines and recommended it. It seems a little pricey and my understanding is you can only use it once per ride. Have any of you used the front of line pass and do you recommend it? I have no idea how long lines are at Universal Studios.

TIA

What kind of rides are you planning on doing (how old are the kids)?

Note that, if you're doing Islands of Adventure the express pass cannot be used on the main Harry Potter ride which is going to have the longest line in the park.

Our kids our 8 and 10. I didn't think that California had the Harry Potter ride

The EZ pass is highly recommended for Universal Orlando. The time saved (literally hours) was well worth the money.

Never been to the California one.

Let time I was at Universal California it was only a movie lot Soundstage tour. I don't remember rides :bag:

Oops, sorry missed the California part. I haven't been there so I'm afraid I won't be any help.
