Unofficial 9th pick NON PPR (1 Viewer)

Standard scoring starting 1qb 2rb 3wr 1 te. 6 points all tds

Ok from the 9 spot this year, I know there is already a thread with the 9th pick in ppr but those are much different approaches in my opinion

Here is what I'm looking at

Round 1 - I like either mendy, Andre, lesean mcoy (unless one of the top projected guys fall, also I would pass on Mjd here if available)

Round 2 - probably a top wr unless I take Andre in 1st. Hoping for megaton, fitz, roddy, or maybe turner or gore if available.

Would like to not draft wr/wr or rb/rb so I can draft value round 3/4 and not be forced in to any position

3rd round - hoping for either one if the top 7 qb's (romo/Peyton are 6 and 7 in my rankings) or seeing guys like wayne, Austin, drop there also.

4th round locking up my rb 2 with a Blount,Greene, best, Ryan grant

5th and 6th round - grabbing a Manningham, britt, Harvin type receiver , maybe a good 3rd rb like lynch or Daniel Thomas if he's there

7th round I would like one of the rookie wr's like green or Thomas. Also targeting backup rb's like Brandon Jacobs and Tolbert.

I like the depth at te this year with guys like Winslow, Graham this year, but if gates is there in round 4, or if all top 7 qbs are gone by my 3rd pick I might take gates if hes there

Obviously all of these thoughts can change over the next 2 weeks, but curious to see other 9th pick strategies from a non ppt standpoint

We only get pts for qb tds.

Have to admit our draft was really weird because there was a huge wr run and then huge qb run.

Not 100% satisfied with my team. We only had 1:30 per pick so at times I felt a little rushed and made some quick decisions.

Also, Internet timed out at my mother in laws house and Steve Smith was auto picked. Not unhappy but probably could have done better.

FYI

MJD fell all the way to #24 pick and the first pick took him on the way back.
