Unusual League Trophies (1 Viewer)

CHUG (Charlotte Homers United Group) comprised of FBGs players play for a NASCAR replica trophy decked out in Carolina Panther colors and signed by John Fox. Not sure what we'll do when Cowher comes to town....maybe cross out Fox and get Bill to sign???? Lost my picture of it so maybe C-Boy, HK, etc have one of it.

 
Ours has two pieces on top, one's a karate guy kicking towards the back half of a donkey.. called the "Kick-###" trophy

 
12 team league - 8 teams go to playoffs with winner getting a gold bobblehead trophy we bought online. Winners names added to the base each year.

The 4 teams that don't go to the playoffs pair off to play for the "old corroded nickel". The superbowl loser is expected to find the dirtiest old nickel they can and give it to that owner when we get together for the end of year poker game.

 
Yrs ago, I was going thru my old Pee Wee Football trophies and decided to use those for the champion of our league. I just removed the name plate and had it re-done for our league. I kinda like the retro "old school" look and also it was very cheap, so if your league isn't into spending much $$, consider this idea.

I'm trying to get a trophy for our league this year. Our league is called the Garden State Fantasy Football League. Our league logo is based on the NJ Turnpike Logo. I'm trying to get a trophy that looks just like a Turnpike sign. I think the only way is to snatch one off of the posts on the Pike. If I can get it, and then have it altered for our league, I think it would make a cool looking trophy.

 
our winner gets a stupid Crown.... like a king's crown.

and our lowest scorer of the league gets a Ryan Leaf jersey that he has to wear to all of the future year's league outing (draft/out to bar to watch games/etc)

Mini-helmet like this and it's in a clear plastic case. Each year the season's previous winner presents the trophy to the new champ and the new champ signs it w/ a Sharpie. Under no circumstances can a non-title winner ever touch the trophy. The year I won it I brought it with me to a 3-on-3 bball tourney and just let the other ff owners try and ignore it as we drank and played cards (and played bball) all weekend. Also, it makes going over to your buddies house painful when he has it on the mantle. Talkin' smack is half the fun and the rotating trophy definitely keeps that alive and well with our group.
