Musah will be a rotational player at Milan to start. Start league Cup and rotational against lesser opponents. Theres talks and speculation amongst fans that Bennacer might be sold for 50+M to a saudi side come January as his knee injury might be more serious and the Saudis league doesn't seem to care other then throwing money around like drunken sailors. It open up another EU spot plus Musah wouldn't have to worry about game time.

Milan have changed their offer to Valencia.

It was changed from 18m plus addons to 20m flat. The report said Valencia will accept this change.

$20 million for a backup? Milan must be doing something right.

Newcastle gave them about 70 million for Sandro Tonali.

I think Arsenal just signed Ramsdale to a long term deal. Would they really spend that much money on a back up?

Any move in the EPL that gets Turner PT would be great obviously. Would he get starters time at Forest? If he doesn't, this will be a worse situation than Arsenal since he won't have Europe games to play in at Forest.

Come to think of it, isn't Forest Whorebath's team?

United will always have to overpay, just comes with the territory but I don’t get paying $82 million for Höjlund. I trust ETH and if he said get it done then so be it but I don’t have a ton of confidence after what’s happened since SAF retired.

I will say I think it’s good they didn’t pay crazy money for Kane (even though I don’t think Spurs would have ever sold him to United). A young, talented kid on the rise is ideal but not sure this was it. Definitely need help scoring goals so if he can come in and do that then it will be worth it. I like bringing in Mount and Onana - as BMav said, sell some dead weight and it’s a nice next step.

Horvath is there but he's never going to play for them. He was a backup for them when they were in the Championship and then they loaned him out last year when they got promoted. I don't think they view him as more than depth.

Arsenal are exploring buying Brentford's David Raya (who is their starter and quite good). Hard to see a point to that if Turner isn't on the move. My guess is they flip Turner this summer for a small profit. He's not a long-term prospect for them anyway and I'm sure he's itching to play.

And Forest don't have a keeper. They played Henderson and then Navas last year - both were on loan. It's a wide open landing spot.

Not on the list but I believe Bryan Reynolds has now made a permanent move to Westerlo from Roma
good update. Looks like we can move Reynolds into the "Close" category, at least

===========================

Roma are ready to complete the sale of American fullback Bryan Reynolds.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, Reynolds is on the verge of completing a move to Westerlo on a permanent deal following his recent loan spell there.

The Dallas native will depart Roma on a permanent transfer worth €3.5 million plus a 25% sell-on clause.

The two clubs are discussing the final details before completing the necessary paperwork to make the transfer official.
Looks like this is now official

Update: Reynolds moves from close to official

Weston - Aston Villa rumors
Adams - Nothing recent, still rehabbing, looks like will stay with Leeds for the time being. He does have a release clause
Balogun - Inter and Milan rumors
Tillman - EPL rumors
Booth - I have seen the Man United rumor a couple of times but that is it
Vasquez - Gladbach is interested, Cincy is not
Turner - New rumors of a permanent move to Nottingham Forest

Huge step up for Turner if that were to go through. He'll be holding on for dear life a fair bit, but it'll be fantastic experience. And he's still go like 7-8 years ahead of him at his peak.

This news appears related to the Turner rumor (ironically it is the guy that replaced Turner in NE).

i saw a highlight of a team possessing the ball with some great passing/etc and ultimately resulting in a goal this week. it was some of the best I've seen, but now i can't find it.

help???

Could have been Club America against St Louis City. Because they did that all game.

Pukstas scores again today and Split win 1-0. Their first two games have been against the sides that finished 1st and 3rd last year and he's scored winners in both. Not a bad start to the season.

He played as a central mid in a 442. Last season he played a lot of positions including an awful lot as a wing, but seems he's pretty nailed as one of their 6/8s this season.

Rumors of Auston Trusty to Sheffield United. They are relegation fodder but an EPL loan or permanent is a big step up. Sink or swim time.

USMNT Otaku
@USMNTOtaku

Sheffield United have agreed on a deal to sign Auston Trusty for around the £5M level from Arsenal. An agreement is in place with the club, not quite there yet on personal terms, but it shouldn’t be an issue
Is this a loan or permanent move?

5m sounds like a permanent move.

It's more like 75 plus bonuses. england is weird in their transfer fees and don't always include the contract and all. When all said and done the total of the fee plus contract value will be closer to 80M total

The United tax is real, but they seem to be doing a good job of negotiating the fees down. All of the fees paid have been lower than the reported "initial asking prices" when the players were first linked to United. And I agree, the track record post SAF (And David Gill, got to give the credit) has been poor. But with Woodward out they seem to be doing better in negotiating and players seem to actually want to go to United.

From what I have seen, Hojlund has the size, speed (recorded a top speed .03 faster than Rashford) and movement to be good. Can he finish in the EPL? Will he get the service? If he can, then the price may be a bargain.

Plus reporting always seems to switch between Euros, Pounds and Dollars. Hard to get a straight answer on a fee.

Last report I saw was NF was either going to sign Turner or Dean Henderson.

It seems odd to me that Raya would want to go to Arsenal and be a backup. He was a top starter in the EPL last season. I get the CL chance, but is sitting behind Ramsdale what you want? Or will it be a genuine competition between the two. And if it is will Ramsdale be happy?

Regardless, if Turner does move he will play and that is a good thing.

We are not just relegation fodder, we're selling our only attacking outlet because our owners are idiots, and are going down 80-90% of the time unless this kid we've signed from Sweden is the next Zlatan and everyone else missed it, so Trusty would get a lot of work, LCB is a huge hole in our side and he should start immediately

It’s a small-ish risk - they can absorb him being a miss or giving him time to develop. They would need to have a lot of things go right and for a few things to go wrong for others for them to challenge for the title.

Two other things of note that I think shows where things stand with ETH (in a good way) - him letting DDG walk and taking the captaincy from Maguire. Two somewhat big calls but ones he needed to make.

Agreed. I would have liked a better send of for DDG, but he did need to move on. Onana already looks the part. And for sure on Maguire. Bruno was the captain last year and they needed to make it official.

And Sancho looked decent at striker yesterday and Martial does have the capability to play there as Hojlund settles in. Plus Rashford can play there as needed. He is better on the left but with the depth they seem to be building they have options.

Anyway this is probably the wrong thread....

Alerts... My newsfeed telling me Adams is being linked to Hammers and Villa.

Would be a good move either way, obviously West Ham have a clear need in that position. Supposedly has a relegation release clause, coupled with seemingly half their squad having loan clauses as well. Shame, would have loved to have seen him in our centre mid

Inter with a bid of 20m Euros to West Ham for Scamacca and will up the bid to 25m. according to Fabrizio. WHU want around 30m.

If they get Scamacca they may be out on Bolgun.

They already are. Romano said inter believe he’s too much
It is a shame because Balo should be in a $25-30m range for a Serie A team. Arsenal are asking for too much if they are hoping for the $40-50m range from a Serie A team imo.
