Use Waiver claim 6/14 in 14 team league to try and snag Jaylen Wright? (1 Viewer)

Guy just dropped Wright and i have Achain. Is Wight worth burning my claim? In a 14 teamer, it is difficult to get a high pick......but Wright could be worth going to #14?

Depends on the type of players typically available in your waivers throughout the year. With 14 teams it is likely there isn't much on waivers so if that's the case pick and you think Wright is the best option you will likely see given your priority spot then go ahead and get him.

I'm looking for OPINIONS on whether YOU all think I SHOULD snag him in a 14 teamer. I'm coming from the place you describe.

If you want him go for it. You’ll just be annoyed with yourself if you don’t.
Can you expound on this? I guess I'm hessitant to burn it now in the event that someone does something stupid and drops someone even better..............but this league has some pretty savvy owners. It's just that the WW is really thin with 14 teams with 7 bench spots.

That's only an answer you can come up with. We don't know if you have owners that will drop quality guys during the year. Every league is different. If you are saying there won't be anybody good on waivers then use your priority on Wright. If every year a few players get dumped that are worth picking up then save it. We don't know your league like that.

Perspecive...first people up on the FA list are Defenses,....then Wright, then more D's and Kickers.....then Marvin Mims, Isaiah Likely, Braelon Allen, Cade Otton, Jamaal Williams, more D, kickers, Ben Sinnott, Luke McCaffrey, Holy Pearsall, Broken Odell...

Point is.......there isn't much left, and Wright is quite easily the best player available to pick up. Not much that I just typed will be picked up outside of needing to use them as bye week, desperation filler. I have never played in a 14 teamer before.

I dumped Rashid Shaheed NO WR for him. I don't trust Carr and that NO offense anyway. It's worth a shot given the dearth of RBs on the FA list.
