Useless Fantasy Trivia (1 Viewer)

For all questions, using data from 1960-present only . . .

1) Who is the only player to be the highest CAREER fantasy scorer at his position for two different teams? (0 PPR) Only among QB, RB, WR, TE.

For example, Ricky Williams could be the all-time leading fantasy scorer at RB for both MIA and NOS (but he's not).

ANSWER IN POST 33.

2) Which 2008 rookie set a team scoring record at his position for most fantasy points in a SEASON?

For example, Matt Ryan could have set the record for the most fantasy points ever scored by an ATL QB (but he didn't).

ANSWER IN POST 3.

3) Which player is the only player to have the 10 highest scoring fantasy seasons in his team's history (at his position)?

ANSWER IN POST 3.

4) Which NYG QB and WR hold the team record for most fantasy points scored in a SEASON at their position?

ANSWER IN POST 61.

5) Which two teams have never had a QB score 300 fantasy points in a season (and who were the players that led those teams)?

ANSWER IN POST 64.

6) Which five teams have never had a RB score 275 fantasy points in a season (and who were the players that led those teams)?

7) Which five teams have never had a WR score 200 fantasy points in a season (and who were the players that led those teams)??

8) Which five teams have never had a TE score 100 fantasy points in a season (and who were the players that led those teams)??

9) Which team has a TE scoring more than a QB as highest career scorer at those positions?

ANSWER IN POST 30.

10) Which two teams have their leading career fantasy scorer at RB with less than 1000 fantasy points (and who were the players that led those teams)?

11) Which five teams have their leading career fantasy scorer at WR with less than 1000 fantasy points (and who were the players that led those teams)?

One was Derricak Maon of BAL. Still need 4 more.

12) Which five teams have their leading career fantasy scorer at TE with less than 400 fantasy points (and who were the players that led those teams)?

Once a question is answered correctly, I will signify that that answer is correct and update the OP as to which post contains the right answer for that particular question.

Is #1 a trick question? Like Eddie George? Is it someone I'm going to kick myself for not knowing, or is it an old-timer like Bobby Mitchell?

No to these two. Not really a trick question but probably not someone that would jump out at you either.

1) Derrick Mason (Titans and Ravens) WRDavid, would you expand to let us know what happens to a team that changes names (Browns/Ravens, Oilers/Titans)

No to Mason. BAL considered only recent years (so expansion team starting in 1996). CLE considered the same team even though they missed 3 seasons.HOU/TEN considered as one team.

1. Morten Anderson5. Jaguars (Brunell)9. Chargers10. Panthers
Didn't include kickers at all (only using QB, RB, WR, TE).No to Brunell. He had 330 points one year.Chargers had Dan Fouts, so no to #9.Panthers had Beuerlein with almost 400 points one year, so no there as well.

1. Shannon Sharpe?
Sharpe was my first thought, but he only played a couple years in Baltimore. Heap has to be ahead of him by now, I'd assume.Seems like some other folks guessed Martin while I was editing.
There is info in this post that directly answers TWO questions.
Then #9 has to be the Ravens, I'd guess.and one part of #12 would also be Baltimore and Sharpe?
Yes to BAL for #9. Todd Heap is their top scoring TE. He's scored more than any of their QBs and any of their WRs. So the Ravens are one of the teams in #11 (still need the WR though he was already mentioned for something else). Figure out the rest of this to unveil answer to #1.No to the part about #12.

#1 Warrick Dunn just because I can't remember many falcons or bucs rb's that were really good for an extended period of time.

#1 is Vinny, isn't it? Had that one ratahded big year in Baltimore.
Yes. To show you how putrid and how much a revolving door the Ravens have had at QB, Vinny is the all-time BAL QB leader with only 589 fantasy points scored. Every other team is light years beyond that (all are at least 1000).He also leads TB in QB scoring.

Yeah, it dawned on me when I remembered that 4,000 yard 30+ TD season he had back in whenever it was.So, is Baltimore/Mason part of #11?

Yes. Mason leads BAL with only 484.6 fantasy points. That's roughly 200 points lower than the next team.

Who would be ahead of C.Martin in either New England or the NY Jets? Dillon? McNeal?
Martin only played 3 years in NE and ranks 6th.1 Sam Cunningham 1029.80 2 Tony Collins 964.30 3 Jim Nance 892.70 4 Kevin Faulk 816.45 5 Larry Garron 788.30 6 Curtis Martin 690.90 7 Corey Dillon 595.10 He is #1 for the J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets.
