Useless Tuesday night trivia (1 Viewer)

Crap, that's a great question... :scratching head:

My first guess was Ironhead Heyward, but it looks like he had a handful of grabs every year.

Hehe, yes this was a fun and hard trivia question

P.S. Check Joe Montgomery - 1999

He also had no catches, but 100 less carries. As a matter of fact, he had no catches his entire career! I just spotted him.

And Dan Fouts holds the record for most rushing TD in a season (2) with 0 rushing yards in a season. At least I think that's the record . . . :banned:

It doesn't mean I didn't cheat . . .only that I did not use PFR.
LOL... I officially rescind my kudos.
Seriously . . . anyone that would flat out know that ***REALLY*** needs to get out more. I mean, I know we fantasy aficionados get the rep for being bookish dweebs, but that would just be over the top in my book.

And Michael Vick holds the single-season yards-per-reception record.
Actually, it's Mark Malone with a 90.0 ypr.
vick got 16 yards in '02 with 0 receptions. thats infinity, and you can't get higher than that!
IIRC, Vick was a recipient of a lateral on a passing play, so he got credited 28 receiving yards even though he did not get credit for a reception. You can't have a yards per RECEPTION average WITHOUT a reception.Lee Suggs (13 yards) and Chad Pennington (7 yards) have done the same thing.

Sure you can. 28 YARDS per 0 RECEPTIONS. Divide it out. :loco:Also, while Suggs and Pennington have done the same thing, Vick got more yards, making his ypc a higher order of undefined. ;)

Wasn't Brad Johnson the first QB to throw a TD pass to himself?
May be wrong, but I think Steve Young did that. May be Doug Flutie also. :bag:
I don't know about Young and Flutie, but Brett Favre's first career TD pass was to... Brett Favre.

Brad Johnson is the ONLY player in NFL history to throw a TD pass to himself...
Maybe my memory is not helping me here... but I think I recall Steve Young having a pass batted in the air, catching it and running it in...

In the non-undefined division, does anyone know what the story is with Bake Turner? Every source I have ever seen --- both print and online --- says that he had 1 catch for 111 yards (with a long of 74) in 1962.Is it another lateral situation? Or is it a misprint that has been perpetuated through different sources?
