I am in a 16 team auction draft on Saturday...my first auction draft....I am wondering if there are any specific % that people use of their budget on certain positions like they do in baseaball auctions something like 40% RB 30% wr....etc

my budget is 270 dollars

here is the roster breakdown

Roster Limits

Status Min Max

Active Players 8 8

Reserve Players 0 7

Injured Players 0 0

Practice Players 0

Total Players 8 15

Position Min Max Tot

Active QB 1 1

Active RB 1 3

Active WR 0 4

Active TE 0 4

Active K 1 1

Active DST 1 1

which means start 1qb either 2rb/3wr-te or 3rb/2wr-te....

4pts for passing td

0.5 PPR

Thoughts would definitely be appreciated........or general auction strategy would be welcomed!!!

Thanks,

CAS

Allocate your budget to the scoring system. It's 0.5 PPR with 4pts passing TD, so WR and RB are going to be your highest scorers.

Coming in with a budget is good. But be prepared to throw it out the window quickly. The auction will set the value at each position and you need to be open to throwing out your plans and adjusting to the market the auction gives you. If you stay stubborn to your plan you will not have value.
