None of them were startable before, and none of them are startable now.
I dont know about NOT startable?? Buck was really good when filling in for Westy? Although I know it was filling in, he could be a good two year starter!! And Arrington has always been a RB1 on a NFL team in my opinion?? Arz just dont use him as such?Good signings for Den! But why two?? Arrington alone would have been good enough??

UP

Washington Redskins D

DOWN

Tennessee Titans D

Due to Haynesworth leaving the Titans for the big payday with the Redskins.

Titans D wasn't as effective without him when he missed some games last season.

We'll see how motivated Albert is with a fat cotract....

I think Torain's value is up now that the Broncos haven't signed a sure starter and it appears they won't be looking to draft an RB early with the signing's. It will be a battle to watch during the preseason.

Redskins D has to be an attractive option for next year with Haynesworth there now. You can argue whether Haynesworth is worth that kind of coin, but there is no doubt their D will be better. Which may even help Portis since they may run more late in games with a D that will keep other offenses from scoring much.

Does Braylon get a bump with Winslow being traded?
A bump up or down is the real question.
I would think Braylon would be downgraded with K2 gone. Who else do you have to cover in Cleveland? Stallworth?I'd also say Winslow's value probably drops slightly due to uncertainty of how he'll fit in Tampa. Will he be targeted like he was in Cleveland?I think the big winner here is Luke McCown. Of course he has to win the starting job, but if he does I think you could do a lot worse for a QB2.

I initially was going to bump Braylon down but the more I thought about it, the more I think he gets a verrrrrry slight bump upwards if anything at all.I remembered that Jurevicius is supposed to be back this year and I think that between Jurevicius and Rucker (or whoever takes over at TE) that the majority of KW2's targets get accounted for... However, the remaining 10% or so could end up going to Braylon. Big x-factors in that are:- Will Brady shift his KW2-love towards Jurevicius in the slot, the new TE, or Braylon?- Does Stallworth factor in more this year?- And of course: Can Braylon hold onto the friggin' ball???

Big Bump Up

Washington Redskins Defense

Small Bump Up:

Fred Taylor

No Change:

Laveranues Coles

Small Bump Down:

J.J. Arrington

Correll Bulkhalter

Kellen Winslow

Braylon Edwards

Tennessee Titans Defense

Sammy Morris

Moderate Bump Down:

Ryan Torain

Patrick Hillis

Off the board (Big Bump Down):

Lamont Jordan

I think Edwards value goes up. He's the kind of WR that will be thrown too even if he's double covered. But he'll get more targets, and more chances for drops, I mean, receptions with KW2 one. :lmao:

Value Down:David Harris
Why? I can see if it was Ray Lewis...
According to reports, under Ryan's scheme - Scott would take the role of Lewis in the Jet's defense and Harris would take over the role previously played by Scott in the Raven's defense. In other words, Harris would take on the initial downfield blockers beit offensive linemen or the FB and Scott would be free to make the tackle. Hence Scott's value goes up and Harris' value plummets. It has yet to be seen if this will be the case but I am sure Ryan brought Scott in to NY based on his knowledge of how he would want Scott to play in the role of the agressive MLB.

Bump Up:

Randy Moss

Dustin Keller
So Baker made and makes that much of a difference? Maybe it's because NWE hasn't had a good TE (if Baker falls into that category) in a long time but it doesn't seem like much would change from either side. How long have we heard about Watson blowing up or Dave Thomas getting his shot finally. It def. doesn't hurt NWE as a team or Brady but Moss seems like he'd stay even..they spread it around too much?

I think Moss' value goes up not because of the addition of Baker (although I can no see how you misunderstood my post), but because of a more consistent running game with the signing of Fred Taylor. Keller's upgrade is not becuase of the loss of Baker, but more because of the loss of Coles.

And what does that mean?
It means only someone who thinks Arrington is a #1 RB would wonder why the Broncos signed two RB's. Im not trying to pick on you, but fact is, neither RB is close to a full time starter. I would think Mcdaniels will run a similar offense to what NE has done over the last couple years. Buckhalter filling the Morris role, and Arrington the Faulk role.

gottcha, this thread's going to turn into a big Kevin Bacon 6 degrees thread. The whole NWE running game is just hard to trust, it's just THE meaning of RBBC in it's truest form it seems. You know by about Week 3 Maroney will be the one to own, Week 6 you'll see Morris blow up for 2 games, Week 8 Green-Ellis could be starting again due to injuries, then by week 10 Morris will come back after a quad pull and he and Faulk will have good games all with a little Fred sprinkled in there everywhere! It's just constantly changine and you can't rely on one person for very long. I mean Kevin Faulk was probably a Top 20 back in most PRR leagues, that's not happening again?

Winslow Value all depends on the QB... and I would find it hard to believe that TB makes a move like they did without a plan.

Not so fastBart Scott reportedly is going to give the Ravens a chance to match the Jets' five-year, $40 million contract offer. In an effort to break the story, many national sources said the deal was officially agreed to. But it was never signed and it now appears Scott is having second thoughts and wants to give Baltimore another shot. We don't see why Baltimore wouldn't match now, but it's no lock. We'll find out shortly.

Sleeper Value Bump....

Josh Johnson

Has to compete with McCown and Griese for QB.

If he can somehow see the field, Bryant and Winslow as targets make for an easier introduction into the NFL game.
