VBD Baseline (1 Viewer)

I am in a 12 team league and wondering what is sensible to use? Is last starter standard? Any input appreciated
I don't know what is standard, but just take the last starter and what you expect to be the last drafted add them together and divide by 2 for the best of the "easy" static baselines. Nine years ago I had a post which showed how this baseline closely tracks ADP (by position, not player) meaning that it does basically the same thing a dynamic baseline does. The theory behind this baseline is that it approximates the value of a player over what you can likely pick up on the waiver wire for the position assuming that there is some diversity in opinions on player projections. The theory behind testing baselines to ADP is that it organizes a static draft sheet more or less according to what positions should be available in each round. I'd guess the yellow board post with the actual research is long gone, but this is a good static baseline to use especially when you plan on partying :banned: at the draft.
