I stayed there once a while ago. It's HUGE. The first time they put us in a really crummy room in one of the far towers. It was literally like a cruise ship room. We walked 20 minutes back to the front desk and insisted on a better room and they obliged. The new room was ok but nothing special.Going out with a semi-large group (around 5 couples) in mid-November. I was pushing for Venetian, Cosmo, or Caesar's but so far it seems like the leader in the clubhouse in terms of where to stay is MGM Grand since it's less expensive. Wife and I don't really do Vegas on a budget so I'd like to get a nicer room. Any room suggestions if that's the way they end up deciding? Or anybody with input on why MGM might not be a great option?
MGM wouldn't be my first choice, but they may have upgraded suites that are better than the standard room. Just make sure you don't get stuck in the crummy tower.
