Going in to year 4. $100 dues per year. $50 has been left by the previous owner to cover half your first year's dues, however, you must put $50 towards the following year that will be left with the team if you decide to leave. So it's $50 towards this year and $50 towards half of next year, so $100 total. All the original teams put down $150 year 1 and that was including the deposit on the following year. In other words, there is $100 per team in the pot every year. Payouts are 800, 300, 100.
I don't think you're gonna find a better orphan team and immediate title contender anywhere. It's an odd situation. The team was ran by an old buddy from high school but he's decided he doesn't want to have anything to do with football anymore on moral grounds. That's a discussion for another day but point is, he's leaving a top 4 team in the league behind.
