veteran IDP sleepers, injured most/all of last year, etc. (1 Viewer)

DA RAIDERS

Footballguy
we pulled a few good ones off of IR last year.

here's a few that performed well last year & ended up on IR.

jevon kearse, de

gary baxter, cb

bob sanders, cb

michael doss, cb

roman harper, s

angelo crowell, lb

whatcha got people?

good topic...

a different subject as posed in your question, but archuleta is in much more of a position to suceed in CHI with his ex-DC than he was last season in WAS where he quickly became marginalized...

ken lucas was banged up a lot last year but put up very good numbers in 05 (problem is that gamble & marshall might be more talented than him)...

spikes, if more recovered from lingering achilles injury that put a damper on last season, could have a bounceback year... though if he ends up at SLB, that could limit it...

derek smith had off year due to injury, but he is not an especially exciting dynasty prospect...

berry lost a lot of time in ARI, but i think that is a few years in a row, so maybe a trend...

erasmus james & prized first rounder chad greenway could have prominent roles in MIN

abraham missed a lot of time in ATL

dan morgan made his obligatory quota of missed games last year...

mike peterson missed a lot of time, but he isn't exactly a secret

i'm pretty sure reggie hayward of JAX missed a lot of time

odell thurman is a wild card in CIN (or if he is released), but was out due to suspension

What's the latest on lavar Arrington? Probably can be had cheap, but I'm not sure why he's still a FA

James Hall, DE, always underrated, coming off injury, plus the change to St. Louis

Luis Castillo might be solid

Bert Berry - plus he might be playing some OLB, but will probably remain DE in FF

Osi-U isn't a sleeper, but is probably cheaper now than his talent should warrant.

Arrington and Baxter's careers are over ...
Baxter's trying to come back but it doesn't look good. He has a lot of guts. What about Morgan? Getting trhough training camp without a concussion seems doubtful.
He's definitely worth a roster spot, though. His price has finally fallen to the point where he's worth picking up to take a shot on.

I picked him up on waivers because you never know.

I'm tellin ya...I got a warm fuzzy about John DiGiorgio, LB in BUF. I think he'll see the field significantly in the near future. He may overtake Ellison at WLB or hold down the MLB spot and they move Poz to WLB. FWIW...Poz "severely" sprained his ankle in practice and was showing a significant limp.I have DiGiorgio in 2 of my leagues so far.

Patrick Kerney. #125 or so last year.

If he can keep his health up, he could do some damage in Seattle.

Not a great IDP selection at this point, but certainly could outplay his ADP.

Move Ellison? have u heard/read the reports on him? according to the bills organization and reporters in that area-at this point derrick brooks in his prime couldn't move ellison from his WLB spot,LMAO
