I didn't see the game and I don't own Vick but a buddy of mine does. He emailed me complaining that with about 2 min left Vick dropped back to pass, slipped and stayed there because the defense was all around him. Apparently they gave him negative rushing yards. In that particular league you get a 5 pt. bonus for a QB rushing for 50 yards. That negative stat put him at 48 rushing yards thus taking away the bonus points.

Is this something that will be corrected/changed to a sack or do you think it should have been negative rushing yards?

Bolded portion is where the question lies.If he dropped back to pass, its a sack. However, it appeared like he was reaching out to hand the ball to McCoy (making it a running play and a sack an impossibillity), and had his foot stepped on and fell.

This falls under the jurisdiction of the official scorer, who recorded it as a running play, and therefore Vick got the -3 yards. This COULD be changed this week when the review of stats is done. I'd say its 50/50 to get changed.

You might note in your league rules when stats are official (i.e. at the end of the game, or by the following Thursday when stat updates are released.)

I was wondering this as I watched last night too. I have Vick, and we give bonuses to players who have a 4.0 YPC and up with a minimum of 10 carries. At that time Vick had 9 carries for 52 yards. I thought that would go as a sack, but it didn't. there may be a stat change

I agree with vandyt, it looked like it was going to be a handoff to McCoy and not a pass.......therefore not a sack.I guess you could argue play-action, but when you take into account the situation, it was most likely a run. Although, the Eagles did make an ill-advised pass attempt a few plays later.I'm guessing no stat change.
