Vick injured (1 Viewer)

Could be serious, stay tuned.
Mathew Berry still has him as a first round pick.
Watching the NFL Channel's RedZone equivalent for preseason games has been vetoed in my house tonight. Can you give a little more description of what happened and what is meant by "serious"? Thanks.
he hit his hand on the helmet of his OL. Being looked at on the sidelines. OP getting ahead of himself on the could be serious, imo. IT could be serious or it could be nothing.

He whacked his throwing hand on a helmet and shook his hand in pain. They are looking at it on the sideline.

He was on the sidelines with his hand in ice.

We'll see what happens but he hit it pretty hard.

Why was he still in there with 9:52 left in the 2nd Q of their first preseason game?

Most other starting QBs play just one series.

It'll stop being funny when he goes back in time and doesnt gamble on killing a bunch of dogs.
No, it was never funny except for a bunch of holier than though hypocrites who can't move on and get off on judging/criticizing people they don't know.

False. It was funny. I laughed. So did those guys up there...so it was funny. Not our fault you don't have a sense of humor.

Still hilarious to me, guess im one of those holier than though hypocrites who cant move on. Im glad to know though that if I decided to be a terrible person and kill a bunch of animals for my own enjoyment/profit after serving my totally reasonable jail sentence at least one moron would accept me with open arms.

Sound rebuttal from the man who thinks tossing a dog in an above ground pool with a set of jumper cables and betting on how long it would take him to die is an example of forgivable behavior. I bet you are an excellent example to your kids.

I couldnt care less what you or anyone on here think's is a sound rebuttal. I see you like to make a lot of assumptions about people you don't know while sitting behind a keyboard.Pretty pathetic. I'm sure you are a fine example to your kids too. Actually, you're probably not and they likely resent the false righteousness you project.

But cheers to you too, buddy.

At least we can all agree, he didnt kill anywhere near enough dogs to make a one hundred million dollar contract for a QB who cant throw the ball in under 3 seconds completely disgusting.Stay classy philly.

Also im not your buddy, guy.

Good points, buddy.

I'm an animal lover. I couldn't have been more furious at Vick when I found out what happened. But he paid his debt to society, and he's said and done all the right things since being released from prison. If any of you made horrible mistakes and then did what a judge and jury required you to do, you'd hope to be forgiven at some point.

To forgive doesn't mean to forget, mind you. It just means you try to find good in people.

It's cool, obviously there are plenty of people that think running fast and being able to throw a football means you and your pals can grab a dog that doesn't want to fight for it's life by its front and rear paws and slam it into the ground like a jump rope until it dies. Like I said...solid example you are setting, make sure your future Dahmer gets that 40 time under 4.5 or else everyone is gonna hate him!

:goodposting: A lot of people have no clue about the concept of forgiveness. But the world's problems will not be solved on a FF message board.

It'd be nice to keep this to FF and football. But apparently some people can't help themselves. And I know I'm guilty as charged. But sometimes you get sucked into the foolishness.

This is a message board about Fantasy football. Your comments are comical, make little sense, and have nothing to do with FF. Obviously you have other issues that you need to talk to someone about. But Im not the one and no longer stooping to your level.

Enjoy the rest of your evening.

And about that vaterp is absolutely right, I havent forgiven him, not saying it wont happen, im not embarrassed at all to needle him every chance I get, no one should ever forget.Hes done a lot, and imo he needs to do more, he was broke coming out of prison, say a few words and have one good game get rewarded with a $100m contract - like nothing ever happened.

The fact that he is getting sponsors on top of his ridiculous contract have made me even more bitter.

I'm going to go beat one of my dogs to death so that you can not only forgive me, but place me on a pedestal.

Excellent posting and imo he's not sorry at all for what he's done, just sorry he got caught and lost everything he had, until Andy decided he was a more worthwhile reclamation project than his own kids.

I was determined to hate him for the rest of my life. To never draft him, to wish bad things upon him, etc. In fact, I almost fired up a poll last week asking how many of you still hate the guy for killing dogs, but I let it go. It's just not in my heart to hate someone like that. Hate takes too much work. It raises your blood pressure and no good comes out of it. But for those of you who still hate the guy, it's hard for me to blame you.

I just ask one thing: watch this sit-down session he did with Jaws a few weeks back.

I came away very impressed with him. Even Jaws commented on how he's clearly matured and grown up. I find it difficult to believe anyone can watch that and not see a humbled, contrite man. I hope y'all give that a quick viewing.
