Vick's 2010 season (1 Viewer)

For quarterbacks, I like to look at Fantasy points per adjusted game rather than fantasy points per game, as I think it's always better to get more granular if you can. A quarterback who missed half of multiple games shouldn't be viewed as someone who took every snap of that game. To come up with the number of adjusted games a quarterback plays, I look at each game and give the quarterback credit for X percentage of that game, with X being the QB's pass attempts plus rush attempts divided by all pass attempts/rush at[cotempts by all QBs on that team in the game.

Vick last year played in 10.9 games. He played in 9 complete games. In his MNF massacre against the Redskins, Kevin Kolb came in to take a knee, so Vick gets credit for 97% of that game. Against Green Bay, Kolb started the game, but Vick got credit for playing 76% of it. And against Washington, Vick started the game but only got credit for 21% of the game. Add it in, and Vick played in 10.9 adjusted games last year.

Using a scoring system of 5 point per passing/rushing TD, 1 point per 20 yards passing, -2 per INT, 1 point for every 10 yards rushing and 6 points for every rushing TD, Vick scored 365.5 fantasy points. So, when Vick was actually playing football, he was averaging 33.4 FP per adjusted game. That's the most in NFL history:

what are your projections for him? Maybe I'm under some massive spell or drinking too much of my own coolaid but I don't see any part of his game last year that should take a big step back except his rushing Tds and maybe some rushing numbers. I think his passing numbers could improve. I don't think that he'll necessarily improve on a PPG basis but he doesn't have to...he had a 30% margin for error over QB2.

You can show me stats and stats but records are broken. No one ever doubted his raw talent...maybe he should go down as a HOFer.
