Victor Cruz long touchdowns (1 Viewer)

I've always thought Eli was overrated. He gets ALL the credit when the GIants win, despite their defense shutting down offenses in the playoffs. But then when they lose, people try and push the blame elsewhere, despite his abysmal numbers.

In comparison, Romo's team loses and people blame him no matter what.

But yeah, I'm surprised about Cruz. How a guy like that goes undrafted is beyond me. Can't believe I spent my auction dollars on Mike Wallace, who turned out to be $2 more expensive than Cruz. Horrible impulse decision that I had no intention of doing before or during the draft. Decisions like that cost you fantasy seasons.

There's a pretty large difference in the comparison of why most people would consider Eli a better QB than Romo.

- When the Giants are down in the 4th quarter by a reasonable amount (say 7-14 points) nobody counts Eli out. Because time and time again he's found a way to win those games. Sure, he's goofy and sometimes makes some odd decisions. But when he's on? He's one of the best QBs in the league, if only he could find a way to always be on they'd probably have more than 2 Super Bowls.

- When the Cowboys are up in the 4th quarter by a reasonable amount (say 7-14 points) most people just assume Romo will find a way to blow the game. Because he has, time and time again. They'll be up by 14 with 7 minutes left, the team will drive down and make it a 7 point game with 5 minutes left. Romo will be put in a 3rd and long situation trying to run down the clock and he'll throw an INT. The team will march down score and tie the game then win in overtime.

This is the 'main' difference between the two.

I always see these reasons given as to why Eli is a better QB than Romo. The funny thing is, Romo has the highest 4th quarter QB rating in NFL history. How do you explain that?

Not sure. Late TDs in garbage time when either up a lot or down a lot??

Fumbles don't count against passer rating??

I personally think Eli is a better qb than Romo, but damn, he has no chance with that line and no running game right now.
