The Saga of Tornado Man (continued): Episode 4: Maghda (finally)
This session began with the party leaving Caldeum at what appeared to be mid-day in search for Maghda. Shortly after leaving we met an enchanter who was there to guide us on our way. Within the first 2 fights, Tornado Man had died 3 times. One of these deaths caused what appeared to be a cry of, "damnit" to come from Tornado Man's mouth. Apparently Tornado Man has been paying attention to Tornado Dad while he plays.
Pause game for a discussion about not using that word. After a promise from Tornado Man, play resumed. Mom and dad were seeing much difficulty killing mobs as well and that's when the party realized we had the difficulty level pumped up from when Tornado Mom and Tornado dad were playing other characters and forgot to turn it back down.

The session continued with the party leaving Caldeum at what appeared to be mid-day in search for Maghda. We again met the enchanter who helped us see through the illusions of our enemy and free multiple townsfolk from an evil coven. During this mission we found out that Maghda had taken over the nearby city of Alcarnus. The only road to Alcarnus lead through the Khasim Outpost which was just a short walk away. Of course, it's a short walk if you walk in a straight line. Straight lines are for sissies. Tornado Man had decided to work on his cardio this day which meant zig-zagging across the entire map, covering most areas at LEAST two times. After a while he admitted he was lost. Luckily, Tornado Mom was able to find a route we had not yet explored and point our faithful leader in the right direction.
The posse entered the outpost at what still appeared to be mid-day (I'm not sure though as time seems to work differently here). Tornado Man instructed the head guard to open the barricaded gate so that we may make our way to Alcarnus. The guard told us to visit the Captain who was in a cellar of a house nearby. Totally not shady at all. Tornado Man led his party into the cellar only to find a projection of Maghda waiting for him! She monologued a bit before Tornado Man let her know that she would be a sacrifice of the lord she served. She disappeared and a group of snake-men appeared out of nowhere.
Tornado Man leapt into action (although he didn't really leap as he had already replaced that skill with another, thank heavens). He quickly dispatched one of the invaders before proceeding to attack the empty air in front of him for the next ten second while Tornado Mom and Dad killed the rest. The party proceeded out of the cellar only to have the guards outside morph into snake-men as well! They were quickly destroyed and the party would be free to make it's way to Alcarnus.
The path to Alcarnus was short as Tornado Man somehow managed to go in a direct line straight to the bridge entering the city. There is no doubt in the minds of mom and dad they are blessed as this is a true modern miracle. After killing their way through the city they finally met Maghda in the flesh. While Maghda was monologueing again, Tornado Man figured out how to skip a cut scene. He did so and said, "she's boring me". After a hard fought battle, Maghda finally paid for her evil deeds.
It was still mid-day as Tornado Man triumphantly stated, "awww man, mommy got the orange item and I didn't get anything". With those words of wisdom the party made their way back to Caldeum where they would repair their gear and sell the items they had collected. The group decided to end for the evening. Later that night as Tornado Dad was tucking Tornado Man into bed Tornado Man said, "Dad, what were those snake men?". Tornado Dad quickly recognized this stall tactic for what it was and told Tornado Man they'd talk about it tomorrow.
