Video Glasses (1 Viewer)

Has anyone used any kind of video glasses before, specifically for the iPhone/iPad? I travel an inordinate amount of time, and I always load movies and TV shows on my iPad. i've always thought it would be cool to put on some glasses and see the show on a big screen. I've done some searching and found a few, but I have no idea what is really good and what isn't.

Any suggestions?

Yep - exactly! There are a few different brands out there, but I'm having trouble determining which is best. I'm hoping someone has used them and can recommend something.

After doing some reading it seems like these never worked properly and have been replaced by VR headsets like the Rift.

With an Android phone there's the option of using google cardboard-style holders like the GearVR, but nothing for the iPhone AFAIK.

Thanks. That's sort of what I was finding too. It doesn't seem that hard to do and would be an awesome way to spend some time on a plane. I'm going to keep looking around a bit.

You could be more subtle like 'ol James Daulton...

But actually, I do like to watch shows like Californication and Shameless, so it would be a bit better to watch those shows on a headset than on a screen on a plane.
