From the Footballguys News Blogger:
The Minnesota Vikings have been working out three players on kick-off returns so far this off-season, including running back Mewelde Moore, cornerback Dovonte Edwards and wide receiver Kevin Kasper. However, the team has also not ruled out the possibility of having Pro Bowl kick returner Koren Robinson retain those duties in 2006. "I am not necessarily looking for another option" on returns, Childress said. "I mean, [Robinson] was an All-Pro kick returner. The unknown factor is when you factor in more snaps on offense, you just have to see if it takes away from his effectiveness...So you weigh what is more important, the starting wide receiver or return abilities?"
