Vikings TE's to split time (1 Viewer)

How does this affect Wiggin's numbers, if at all?

I don't think it will. In years past, if Wiggins was in the game, teams knew they were passing. If Kliensausser was in, it was going to be a run. If both were in, they would play, action, with with Kliensausser staying in to block or drifting to the flat. In this new offense, Wiggins will still be Brad Johnson's go-to reciever, and I think this offense will feature him. He has the best hands on the team and has led them in receptions the last two seasons. He will be fine.

Just my 2 cents.

both will play at same time. I just think that, no matter how they want to even out the TE targets, Johnson will look to Wiggins as his primary receiver.

I am targeting Wiggins in a few leagues late

I wonder how much of the pro-Wiggins stance is really wishful thinking. Kleinsasser was a pretty good receiver before he got hurt. Now he's healthy, the Vikings are running a new offense, and Richardson will get a few balls his way too.

Wiggins still feels like a very risky pick at this point.

I agree with most of what you said. However, I don't think Wiggins is a "risky" pick but at TE #10-15 he can have good draft value. I also think that C. Taylor will have 45+ receptions which will cut into Wiggins' #s.

I tend to agree. I think Wiggins has great value as your backup TE but I don't believe he should be used as a primary.
